Jason Bourne Sweet as Pie

Doberman Pinscher

Male, 1 yr 6 mos
Twin Falls, ID
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Shots are up-to-date, House-trained,
This is Jason Bourne and he is a 1 year old, 48 lb dobie/pointer mix. He has a beautiful soft black and tan coat. Jason has the sweetest disposition. He is a very confident boy that loves affection from humans! It takes him some time to warm up to new people but once he does he’s all yours! Jason has a very soft mouth and will sometimes jump but it’s more of a soft jump to receive affection. He loves to have his head and belly rubbed and will lean into you for affection. Jason is great on a leash and will not pull. He will walk right next to his handler. He will pull some when meeting a new dog but will not bark. Jason gets very excited when he meets new dogs but responds to correction well and will eventually settle down. He is crate trained as far as we can tell and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run and play and get out all his zoomies! This boy has LOTS of energy! His new family will need to work with him on continued training and socialization. Especially because he becomes excited when meeting new dogs and will try to pull to get to them. He would be an excellent hiking partner since he is does so well on a leash. Click on the link below to apply to adopt Jason: Questions? Please email: Available for adoption in NV, UT, ID, OR, WA and Canada! Brought by USDA licensed semi-truck transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.
