Story
Meet Dolly Parton—a 3-year-old Doberman Pinscher weighing 63 pounds, with a gentle spirit and a quiet kind of magic that doesn’t need a spotlight to shine. Like her legendary namesake, she has a softness about her that draws you in and keeps you there. Since settling into her foster home, Dolly has really started to show us who she is—and she’s as sweet as they come. She’s affectionate in the most tender ways, offering soft kisses and happily shadowing her people from room to room. She’s the kind of companion who just wants to be with you, whether that’s lounging around the house or joining you for a peaceful car ride (where she is calm and quiet the entire time). Dolly is a low-key girl overall, happiest with a relaxed routine that includes time in the yard, a good game of fetch (she loves playing ball), and the occasional toy. She gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with both men and women. While she hasn’t been around children yet, her gentle nature suggests she may do well with respectful kids. She does prefer not to be crated, as it causes her some stress, so she would thrive in a home where someone is around more often. At night, she sleeps soundly in a dog bed on the floor but will never turn down an invitation for a little morning cuddle session on the bed—her favorite encore. Dolly has been diagnosed with stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease, which means her house training is still a work in progress. She’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can support her as she continues to adjust and manage her condition. She'll need to be kept on medication and special renal food. In return, she’ll offer unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love. If you’re looking for a devoted, easygoing companion who will stick by your side like your favorite song on repeat, Dolly Parton might just be your perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Zoie is a sweet, friendly little girl with a little bit of sass. . She enjoys being outside, playing with a couple favorite toys, and snuggling. Zoie plays well with the other dogs in her foster home. She would be happy as an only dog, but just as happy with a playmate with similar energy level Zoie is not overly energetic, but would like a home where she can lay outside to sun or just enjoy the outdoors. She does well in a crate while her foster parents are at work; she eagerly goes in for a treat. This little one is currently taking Levitracem once a day to prevent seizures. She had a cluster of seizures one day in March of 2024, and again in September of 2024. Zoie has also recently started taking Proin due to occasional incontinence while sleeping. She has had zero accidents since being on the medication. Zoie is a one of a kind, unique little girl. Once you win her heart, and trust you will completely in love with her.

Story
Meet Ivy ! This shepherd, possibly Doberman, mid is a beauty! She’s approximately 6-8 months old is crate trained, potty trained, except when she meets new friends, she gets the excited pees. After a couple days of the same old people those go away! Ivy is great with all dogs, kids, and cats too! She’s an excellent listener and is very motivated to please her humans! She loves snuggling and is hoping to find someone who loves it just as much as her! Ivy would prefer a home with no adult men most of the time as they seem to scare her based on past trauma. She absolutely thrives in a home with a mom or moms and is great with kids, cats, and dogs!

These pups are in Normal, Illinois too!

Story
Quinn 11 weeks old • 4 pounds • Harlequin Pinscher Meet Quinn — a teeny, tiny Harlequin Pinscher with a heart ten sizes bigger than his 4-pound body. 💙 Harlequins are just like Miniature Pinschers, but with a beautifully reintroduced coat pattern that makes them extra striking — and Quinn wears it well. Quinn is blind, but don’t let that fool you. He can see shadows and gets around like a pro. Once he maps out his space, he zooms with confidence and follows voices like a champ. He doesn’t feel sorry for himself one bit — and neither should you. What he does live for? Snuggles. This little guy melts right into your neck or curls perfectly into the crook of your arm like he was custom-made to fit there. He is unbelievably sweet, gentle, and happiest when he’s tucked close to his person. ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ Quiet in the car ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Potty training is a work in progress (he’s just a baby!) Because of his blindness and tiny size, Quinn is looking for a home without young children where he can feel safe and secure. If you’re ready for a pocket-sized cuddle bug who will bond deeply and love you fiercely, Quinn is waiting to find his forever arms. 💕 Please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $415. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers. Story
Meet Gherkin, a 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs 14 pounds! Just like his pickle-inspired name, this little guy is full of personality. He’s energetic, fun, playful, and always ready to cuddle once he’s had his zoomies. Gherkin seems to do well with dogs his size or smaller, but he’s not a fan of big dogs. He’s also quite the vocal boy, so he’ll need a home without shared walls. Apartments, townhomes, and other attached housing won’t be the right fit for him. If you’re looking for a small companion with a big, lively personality, Gherkin is ready to add some zest to your life! His minimum adoption fee is $100 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
