Story
Koda is a 3 year old male Doberman mix that we would like to rehome. We have had him for 2 years, and worked tirelessly with him. He has completed obedience on/off leash training. He is loving, handsome, healthy, and active. However, he has bitten family members. Although most instances have been guarding high importance items, we have two young kids and his unpredictability makes it hard. We love him as our family, and this breaks our hearts, but on the same accord, we are tired of him biting. The bites are restrained, as they do not often break the skin, but it’s still happening. We are looking for someone who is experienced with rescues (a must). I do not want him being given up again, this will trigger his behaviors to worsen. We are looking for that diamond in the rough that wants to make a difference and save a dog’s life. He would do best in a big space without other animals and without young children. Adoption fee will be waived for the right person.
