Jasper is one of the coolest dogs I have ever had. He’s 5 and my daughter got him from the APA when he was 4 months old. He’s extremely loving very loyal very Doberman. He’s big lol like I said he was my daughter’s dog, but she got a job opportunity in Oregon and couldn’t take him with her. I lost my home recently and I’m just not able to care for him the way I feel he needs to be cared for. He’s good with kids and other dogs. He’s so funny has the best personality. Loves to cuddle like all big dogs do. The only downside I have found is he howls when I leave and when I’m coming home. He is not unloved or unwanted. My situation in life has just changed and I can no longer care for him. He’s athletic he likes to be outside I could go on and on because he really is one of the best dogs I’ve ever been around. He does not like aggression or anger. He does have a bit of a protective streak for those that he loves, but has never bitten anyone and has never attacked a dog just barking

Shadow is an energetic Doberman who loves running and playing. She is loveable, sweet and great with older children. She doesn't always eat her food, and sometimes looks too skinny/famished but is healthy and will eventually eat. I chalk it to very high dog metabolism. She'd make a great addition to a family with older children. She's had another dog with her for the last five years so another dog would be ideal to keep her active. She has anxiety around babies, she growled at our baby within a few feet of her. She did learn to eat feces from another dog but that isn't a consistent problem. She has had a privacy fence her entire time with me so don't know if she can scale a fence. She loves chasing and being chased, running at dog parks, and general rough housing of medium weight dogs. Rough housing usually ends up in her taking off running in excitement. TLDR: Great, affectionate and fast dog who eats little but anxious and nervous around babies.

Nala is a 5-year-old dog who has been a loved part of our family and has grown up in a home environment. Unsure of her breed since she is a rescue. She is great with kids, does well with our other household dog, and has a very sweet, loving personality. She truly enjoys being around people and forms strong bonds with her family. Nala is an energetic dog who needs daily exercise and plenty of attention to thrive. One important thing to know is that she has learned how to jump our 3-foot fence and does so almost daily. With a 2-year-old daughter at home, it has become unsafe and unrealistic for me to chase her around the neighborhood on my own, which is why we are seeking a new home that can better meet her needs. An ideal home for Nala would have a secure yard or higher fence or no yard but consistent walks and exercise, and owners who can give her the time, activity, and engagement she deserves. With the right setup, she will be incredibly loyal and cuddly and absolutely perfect!

Story

Doug is a very loving outgoing puppy. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, heal. He loves to play tug a war and fetch. We are still working on bringing the toy back to us though. He is a very energetic dog and needs somewhere to run. He loves your attention and greets you with lots of love when comming home. He will snuggle on your lab if you let him and loves to nap on anything soft. He is crate trained and stays in a crate overnight in our bedroom, he likes to know someone is near by. He is definitely a people dog! He is potty trained, we utilize the bells on the sliding glass door. He hits the bells and find us when he’s ready to go outside. He is not a fan of the cold and does better with a sweater. He is a chewer, and has learned what he can and can not chew on mostly at this point. He does go in a doggy play pen during the day while we work. He needs more attention than what I’m able to give him and really needs someone who isn’t gone all day.

🍂Windy🍂 Windy is a friendly, active and playful pup who is looking for a family to enjoy his enthusiastic spirit! He has credentials too and just graduated from the puppies for parole program with his Canine Good Citizen Certification! This certification means Windy is a loose leash walker, calm in crowds, walking past other dogs, and meeting new people (with no jumping!). He also knows basic obedience, like down sit stay and come. This sweet boy is also dog friendly and potty and crate trained. Windy is a social superstar and has done very well meeting other dogs and new people! He also rides well in the car and is ready to be a co-pilot on your family’s adventures! Hypno is looking for a foster or adopter and will be at the Care’s One Love Free Adoption event on 2/14 and 2/15.
