She has a lot of energy and loves to play, so she would do best in a home where she can get regular exercise and stay active. Deja is good with other dogs and has shown a kind, gentle temperament. Kingston is a stately name!! And I am more like the PRINCE in the story! What is the story? Let me tell you!! I was born on the streets to a dobie mama and daddy who were lucky enough to be living in a neighborhood who took care of us- in that they provided food and water and kept an eye on us in the cold weather and the hot weather..... However, I didn't get the wonderful hands on love that would have happened in a "home". SO, when i was picked up by the pound..everyone in the neighborhood panicked!! I was so shut down and scared NO ONE would save me!! So they reached out to ALL the rescues and one responded AND saved me! And it has taken me about a month to become the squiggly loving boy that I am now.... all kinds of silliness and love I give!! So I am now ready for a home!! I promise I am such a good pup, I will fill your life with love and the LONG legged doberman prance ;) I need another playful dog in my furever home. I respond well to people but the other dog will give me plenty of outlet for my love of life exuberance! AOOPT ME SOON!! Meet Yeager — a Doberman with zero buffering and unlimited energy Tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome. The perfect guy… if this were a Tinder profile. But it’s not — and he’s a lot more than that. Yeager is a complex guy, but also obliviously happy. You know that kind of happiness only reserved for those with absolutely nothing going on upstairs? Yeah… that! I mean… look at that gaze. There is NOTHING there. Processing? Minimal. Vibes? Chaotic. To be clear: Yeager is A LOT. Not “a little training needed.” Not “puppy energy.” We’re talking full-time project dog. ✔️ Dog social… selectively (great with females & smaller/meduim males) ✔️ Has done well with cats and older kids ✔️ Extremely happy, confident, and always ready to GO ⚠️ Reality check: • Potty trained… but won’t tell you and will absolutely have accidents • Will mark indoors • Does not understand (or respect) human correction • Learns patterns quickly… then uses that knowledge against you • Will outmaneuver your routine (especially when food is involved) • Rarely settles — especially around other animals (play is his full-time job) • Takes correction from other dogs… then forgets it happened 3 minutes later • Destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos • Eats fast, then immediately wants to sprint/jump (deep-chested breed awareness REQUIRED) Training status: He’s not untrainable, but he is not intuitive. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a “figure it out as you go” dog. Ideal home (non-negotiable): Experienced, active, consistent human(s) who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary you set. Doberman or working-breed experience strongly preferred. If you want a chill, easy dog; keep scrolling. If you want a high-drive, chaotic, hilarious, frustrating, incredibly rewarding project… Yeager is your guy. Shadow is an energetic Doberman who loves running and playing. She is loveable, sweet and great with older children. She doesn't always eat her food, and sometimes looks too skinny/famished but is healthy and will eventually eat. I chalk it to very high dog metabolism. She'd make a great addition to a family with older children. She's had another dog with her for the last five years so another dog would be ideal to keep her active. She has anxiety around babies, she growled at our baby within a few feet of her. She did learn to eat feces from another dog but that isn't a consistent problem. She has had a privacy fence her entire time with me so don't know if she can scale a fence. She loves chasing and being chased, running at dog parks, and general rough housing of medium weight dogs. Rough housing usually ends up in her taking off running in excitement. TLDR: Great, affectionate and fast dog who eats little but anxious and nervous around babies.
