Maverick is very lovable and affectionate. He really needs a young couple who are as energetic as he is. He loves to cuddle and show love. He’s great with children and was raised with them. Everything is so expensive these days so my wife had to take a job and now he spends a sizable amount of time in a crate. It’s tough on us having him in there and have to make the tough decision to see if we can find him a great couple or family with a nice yard to play in. He is full of love. I also taught him to playfully stalk, it’s where he’ll walk slow towards you then try to kiss you

        Meet 2-3 year old Clifford the big red Doberman     If you don’t like cuddling, being smooshed by 90lb love bugs, being adored, squeaky toys, or having a personal escort to every room in the house you should skip this handsome boy…   BUT if Velcro Dobies are your soul animal, we might have your match! He’s big (90lbs), extremely big dog friendly, loves toys (hope you have a big toy box!), a bed hog, a couch hog, food motivated, crate trained (he sleeps in a crate overnight peacefully and while his foster is away), house trained, great in the car, and horrible on a leash (that’s a work in progress!)   Stranger danger is not a thing for him, new people are just more hands to pet him and more people to get love and treats from.   Clifford is fostered in Rochester NY, he’s fully vaccinated and will be neutered the beginning of December.   If you have Doberman experience or large breed experience, a stellar vet reference, and are looking for a new family member, please apply! - APPLICATION (See our Dog Adoption FAQs before applying)   Clifford was originally from the Buffalo shelter.       Meet 4-5 year old Arthur   This sweet boy is looking for a foster or foster to adopt home.   Arthur was found as a stray in Greece in rough condition…he’s thin, has abrasions down one of his legs, and has scaring around his tail that makes us wonder if he was subjected to an at home tail docking.   Despite his condition he’s very friendly and loves a good full body massage.   He has been wonderful with dogs big and small, and LOVES toys.   He does still need work on basic manners…especially leashed walking.       Say hello to Diesel, a 6-year-old, 90 lb Doberman with a heart as big as his paws!     Diesel is: Incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of love   A fan of squeaky toys and quiet-time chews   Dog-friendly and LOVING fenced yard zoomies   A pro in the car- he recently took a 2 hour road trip and was an angel     House-trained, crate-trained, and knows multiple commands   He previously lived as an only dog without a yard, but now he’s thriving with dog buddies and outdoor freedom. This big teddy bear just wants to be everyone’s best friend.   Fostered in Rochester, NY   Please, no apartments   Diesel has not been cat tested but has been wonderful with dogs from 3lbs-100+.
