******Please note, once you complete the initial screening, you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Zephyr, also known as Zee, is an 8 year old neutered male Doberman Pinscher weighing in at 75lbs. He iscurrently being fostered in Houston, TX and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Zee is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people of all ages. He has been wonderful with children, neighborhood kids, and even elderly family members, showing a gentle, intuitive nature as if he knows when to be extra careful. Though he can be shy at first, once he warms up his goofy personality shines through—he’ll hop like a bunny when he’s excited, soak up every bit of affection, and happily cuddle up next to you or sleep by your side at night. Zee loves outings with his humans too, whether it’s a car ride, a trip for ice cream, or hanging out with friends—he’s happiest when he’s included and getting attention. Zee has a moderate energy level and is an easy going guy. He enjoys playing tug, fetch (even if he doesn’t always bring the ball back!), and romping around the yard. He’s fully house trained, can be left alone with full run of the house without any issues, and is not destructive. Zee walks on a leash with a harness and is still working on pulling, especially when he spots squirrels, cats, or dogs, but he’s improving with consistency. He is happy to hang out with his bone if his humans are busy! Zee would thrive best as the only pet in the home. He does not do well with other dogs and has a high prey drive with cats, so a single-pet household is ideal. That said, he makes up for it by being incredibly loving, loyal, and people-focused. Some of his cutest quirks include chasing dragonflies like a Disney princess, stealing socks just for attention, and “goosing” you if he feels ignored—he clearly finds it hilarious. So, withe the name "Tumble" you would think I am clumsy, right?? UH NOPE!! i am a GRACEFUL Doberman boy with long gangly legs and only one working eye :D I mean, if that is not a set up for tripping/falling/and "tumbling" then I don't know what is!!??? So here is my deal, I am a senior doberman with the vive of life still in my bones! I am smart, I am happy, I am still pretty active and I am looking for a soft place to land with fun family and fun life ahead! My original mom saved me several years ago and gave me an amazing life...however, hers was cut short by cancer :( So here I am looking for my FUREVER family! REXLY!!!! Isn't that a name??? Well, maybe it goes along with my breed?? nope.... my appearance?? nope....my history?? nope... maybe it was something they made up??? YUP! But it fits me, I mean, REX is kind of like a T Rex, and I have the face/mouth SIMILAR to a T Rex, but a WHOLE LOT CUTER!! and LY, i mean, what does that stand for???? OK, they made up my name. Munich, as German as the beer!! Now, I am not a beer drinker, but I have heard that German beer is da best!! So, I am a miniature Doberman/shepherd mix. And at 33#, I am smaller in stature but not personality!! I am such a happy guy, saved from the pound by the rescue team. The pound peeps were so happy for me because they knew I am a special boy and now I am safe and ready for adoption ! I don't have a napoleon complex. Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww!         Meet 2-3 year old Clifford the big red Doberman     If you don’t like cuddling, being smooshed by 90lb love bugs, being adored, squeaky toys, or having a personal escort to every room in the house you should skip this handsome boy…   BUT if Velcro Dobies are your soul animal, we might have your match! He’s big (90lbs), extremely big dog friendly, loves toys (hope you have a big toy box!), a bed hog, a couch hog, food motivated, crate trained (he sleeps in a crate overnight peacefully and while his foster is away), house trained, great in the car, and horrible on a leash (that’s a work in progress!)   Stranger danger is not a thing for him, new people are just more hands to pet him and more people to get love and treats from.   Clifford is fostered in Rochester NY, he’s fully vaccinated and will be neutered the beginning of December.   If you have Doberman experience or large breed experience, a stellar vet reference, and are looking for a new family member, please apply! - APPLICATION (See our Dog Adoption FAQs before applying)   Clifford was originally from the Buffalo shelter.
