Story
Dante was born 11/05/2025 and weighs 20 lbs . Our vets think Dante has Cerebellar Hypoplasia"Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological disease typically seen in puppies from birth. It’s non-progressive, meaning it doesn’t get worse over time. The disease occurs when the cerebellum, a part of the brain, doesn’t form properly while the puppy is growing in the womb. The cerebellum is responsible for sending signals to the muscles that control balance, coordination, posture, and fine motor skills." 1He plays hard but is clumsy. The adoption fee $500.00, covers the neuter at our vet, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. If you are out of the area, you would be responsible to complete the vetting that has not been completed by the time of adoption. If you are interested , please apply on our website:https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html  ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that  we are 100 % entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. Story
Meet `Zora`- fiercely loyal, incredibly affectionate (once you are in her circle).Zora is a 5 year old Doberman mix weighing 74 pounds. With a heart as big as her presence. Found as a stray, she had to look out for herself- but now she is ready to find someone who will look out for her.Once Zora trusts you, she shows a deep affectionate and sweet side. She bonds hard and fast, becoming a loyal companion who thrives on connection and routine. But building that trust takes patience and experience-Zora doesn`t give her heart to just anyone.Because of her past Zora has a few behaviors that require understanding and boundaries. Zora must have a human that has Doberman experience, continued training and behavior management. Zora isn`t a `first dog` kind of pup, but for the right person she will be a once-in-a-lifetime-companion.Zora must meet all humans in the family, she must be the only dog, and no children under 15.

Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
