She’s a sweet, sensitive girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people. She’s not aggressive at all. Just cautious and shy at first, especially around men, whom she tends to take a little longer to trust. With patience and a calm approach, though, her loving personality really shines through. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. She absolutely adores walks and will happily curl up for all the snuggles she can get. She can be a little timid about getting in the car, but she’s been making great progress and has started responding to the command “load up,” which has really helped build her confidence. Overall, she’s a gentle, loving companion with a soft heart who thrives in a patient, understanding home.

Winnie is a sweet, pretty girl who was very scared initially at the shelter. She has warmed up to the staff & volunteers. Hot dogs have helped with that. ;) When she has been out in the play yard, she is curious and loving and gets the zoomies. She does need slow introductions to new things. She has so much potential for someone who has patience with her. Would you be willing to help her learn that new things aren't so scary? Winnie will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped for her new family.

She's big- already north of 40 pounds with more growing to do- but her personality is all warmth and ease. She's crate trained, good with other dogs, great with kids, and snuggly in a way that will surprise you for a puppy her age. She's not a maniac about it- she's just good company. The kind of dog that slots into your life and makes it better without making it harder. Her foster has had her for weeks and admits she's been hard not to keep. Artemis is based in Oklahoma but adoptable anywhere in the country through our transport network. She's ready for the easy part- a family to spoil her forever.
