Story
Stella was adopted from the Tulsa Animal Welfare in Tulsa, Ok She has been in my home since May, 2025. She is appx 2/1/2 yrs old. She came into the shelter terrified of people- mostly men. Therefore, I assumed as the others did- she was abused by a male owner. I was able to get her in a routine here at my home..and she is thriving. She has Charlie here also and she plays well with him. Both are being rehomed. I am looking for Stella to be with a strong single owner who might enjoy having a wonderful watch dog. By that, I don't mean a guard dog at a security building..I mean a home with a man and woman or a single woman who would appreciate having a wonderful dog to protect you. Stella is very personable and is not shy when she is at home- her secure place! But- when taken to a new place, she goes back to that terrible state she was in at the shelter. She was at a doggy daycare for 7 days and did well after the new wore off. I have had 36 rescue animals ..
