Story
Indy quickly becomes everyone’s favorite Dobie due to his agreeable nature and persistence to live life to its fullest. He spends time lounging on his orthopedic dog bed between meals, barking if breakfast is late -then barks to announce its time to check the yard and stretch our legs. Happy to sunbath and monitor the other dogs, a peacemaker - he will bark to tattle on the dogs not playing nice. Indy makes friends with all dogs (males, females, puppies) and enjoys running with them. He has some white hairs and scars around his face, skin tags and one unruly ear crop. Given a clean bill of health - he is ready for his own forever home (approximately 6 years old). He is housetrained and crate trained, loves car rides and has never met a stranger. He is on joint supplements and loves to be outside, running and playing. Neutered, heartworm treated, vaccinated and microchipped. He has no current medical needs. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. He was found wandering after Hurricane Beryl in 2024. He showed signs of long-term neglect as he was just a skeleton of a dog. He was bald and had a skin infection, along with respiratory infection with heartworms. His blue coat is still growing back in a patching pattern. He was treated for infections by antibiotics and treated for heartworms, now on prevention.

Story
He's smart. He's lovable. He's Dexter, a Doberman Pincher who spends his days seeking attention and his nights dreaming of solving crimes. He can't be a forensics expert because he's afraid of the dark. Dexter (blue collar) struggled to want to eat and play when he first came to his foster home, he needed time to decompress and a few extra treats to fill out his physique. He is now 68 lbs and housetrained, crate trained, QUIET and Submissive. He enjoys being around other dogs. Dexter seeks affirmations from humans and is very gentle. Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/Efi6FMVGlDs?si=BP-gbYNeq2Ea30gQ Dexter is healthy, neutered and Heartworm negative on prevention. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. He was stressed out and became very thin. The shelter kennel tech knew to call us! We are so grateful to SPCA of Brazoria County for giving him shelter, keeping him safe while our foster home prepared for Dexter.

Story
Dakota was found wandering in Houston - no collar, no microchip and with the local shelter being at capacity - she went home with a nice family. She was such a good girl, getting along with other dogs and being gentle and sweet with humans, it did not take long to find a foster to care for Dakota. She appears to have had a litter of puppies in her past, our Vet aged her at just 2 years old. Now Spayed, heartworm treated and up to date on vaccines - this big softy (weighing in at 78 lbs) is seeking a family. Housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides. Appears to be a mixed breed mostly of Doberman (black with rust markings) a docked tail and naturally floppy ears. Dewormed, Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped and on prevention after heartworm treatment - she is ready to travel this Spring. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply!
