Please reference www.DefensaAnimalDePuertoRico.org/Adopt  to learn how adoptions work with Defensa & Rescuers.  Plena and Bomba were found with about a dozen other neglected dogs locked in an abandoned school. They were both treated for TVT, which went great - full remission! Both Plena and Bomba are the sweetest girls and seem grateful to be safe and cared for. They are vaccinated, sterilized, and great with other dogs and kids (not yet tested with cats). The other dozen dogs remain locked in the abandoned school waiting for foster parents or adopters. As the dogs get adopted and/or we find more fosters, we can get more and more dogs out of that terrible situation. Please help if you can! Pancho stood in the street, confused and in danger; he seemed so grateful when his rescuer approached him. Pancho's personality is extraordinarily sweet, and he is young with no health problems, so his rescuer cannot imagine why someone would callously dump such a loving creature. Great with kids and other dogs, he will make an amazing family member! (Not yet tested with cats.) Pancho is vaccinated, sterilized, and ready to meet you.
