Story
Meet this SWEETHEART named Toby! He was surrendered over to animal control and brought into the shelter July 18, 2023 when owner couldn’t keep him any longer. He came in sad and down on his luck. He is such a sweet boy, gentle, fun, loving, easy going, but full of love and life to share. Toby is 7 years old, current on shots, now neutered, and will make someone or a family a fabulous pup if given a chance. He is settling into “shelter life” but hopes his stay isn’t too long. He’s a good boy missing his home life setting. He has played with a female pup at the shelter and had a blast. Maybe you need more love in your life and in your home? Meet Toby he may be just what you have been needing! Open up your heart and home to Toby today!!

Story
Tanner - a charming and adorable furry friend in need of a loving FOREVER home to call his own! He came into the shelter May 3, 2024 and is now current on his vaccinations. If you're looking for a fun and playful pooch with lots of love to give, look no further. Though he did come in shy and is slowly settling in thanks to the love of the staff and volunteers. Can be very common with nothing familiar to them. Tanner is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than showing his loyalty to his special person. He is smart and gentle, and he has a knack for winning over everyone he meets. Tanner is a well-rounded pup who loves kisses and adventures. He is always up for a game of fetch, a nice walk in the park, or a cozy nap on the couch. He is a true charmer and will steal your heart and bring smiles on your face daily. If you're willing to open your heart and home to this special boy, Tanner will be your lifelong companion and best friend. We hope that Tanner finds his forever home soon, where he can continue to spread love and joy to his new family. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.

He is still considered a “puppy” so will need owner that will continue to work with him on basic puppy training/manners so he can mature into an even more amazing adult dog.If you're looking for a fun-loving and adorable companion, Knox is the perfect pup for you!
