Dogue de Bordeaux

Male, Adult
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Hey there, I'm Humphrey! I ended up here after my owner decided to 'find himself' in a rehab center. He tried to take me with him, but apparently, dogs aren't great at yoga or something. I've been told I'm funny, sweet, mellow, cuddly, and loyal. I once tried to fetch a frisbee and ended up bringing back a garden gnome instead. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a gnome before I fetched it, but who knows? Magic might be one of my hidden talents. If you need a loyal, gnome-fetching, yoga-hating companion, I'm your guy! I am six years old.  I am fixed, chipped and I have all my shots. I am currently residing with a dog trainer that says I walk great on a leash and I am pretty mellow. My adoption fee is $400.February 21, 2024, 12:07 pm

Mastiff Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Male, Adult
Apple Valley, CA
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Zeus was adopted from the Victor Valley Animal Protection League back in July 2022. He was about 6 months old when we got him. He has his vaccinations from when he was first adopted. He loves to run around and play. He needs a large yard to run all over. Bigger dogs preferably for him to play with. He doesn’t realize he’s too big for smaller dogs and can play too rough. He is house trained and sleeps inside at night. He has a bad habit of jumping up on people and can knock them over if they’re not paying attention or are not big enough to hold his weight. He just has a lot of love to give! He is very friendly to those that want to play with him.

For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day.
