Coral, a delightful 3-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux and Terrier mix, might just steal your heart! While she may be a bit wary of new humans, her love for other dogs brings out her confidence and playful side. Coral thrives in the company of canine pals, making her the perfect fit for a home with another dog. And she quickly warms up to humans with lots of positive reinforcement and yummy treats. Coral is quite the character! Despite all she's been through, she's a happy girl that loves to run with bounding leaps and is not one to shy away from a good mud puddle! When initiating play, she does a cute play bow while shuffling her front paws or sometimes a paw to the shoulder as if to say, "hey, wanna play??. While Coral is a free spirit in a fenced yard or indoors, she's still unsure of herself on a leash. She may benefit from leash training if a fenced yard is not available. This charming pup knows the importance of manners too. She's mastered commands like sit and go, and she's making progress on perfecting the art of giving paw. Plus, Coral is a foodie at heart, so rewarding her with treats and praise is the key to her heart. Despite being 3.5 years old, Coral has the energy and playfulness of a puppy. She loves nothing more than a good play session with toys or just trading affection with her people. Sometimes she gets a little overexcited and will very gently mouth odd things in her surroundings like a blanket, pillow, shoe, or even long hair but will stop when told and will happily redirect her energy to appropriate things such as stuffed or chew toys when introduced. When she's not playing, Coral enjoys snuggling up next to her human for a good night's sleep. She will sleep through the night like a literal log! You may find yourself with just the edge of the mattress in the morning with Coral sawing logs peacefully near your side. Coral is housebroken and does well in a crate when left alone.
