2-Year-Old Dogue de Bordeaux Mix | 86 lbs of Love | Big Baby, Bigger Heart Beaux is a gentle, smooshy-faced sweetheart who will melt your heart with just one look from those soulful eyes. At 2 years old and 86 pounds, he’s a big boy with an even bigger personality—and an even bigger capacity to love. Beaux is great with children and does well with some dogs and cats. He loves to follow his people around the house, always wanting to be part of the action—or better yet, part of the cuddle pile. He’s a total snugglebug and a bit of a goofball, with a personality that feels almost human. Yes, he even pouts when he doesn’t get his way (and it’s ridiculously adorable). Treats are the way to his heart, and with those big, expressive eyes, he’s mastered the art of begging politely. He’s not a huge fan of the kennel, but we’re working on it—and so far, he’s done well when left loose in the house. Beaux may need to wear a doggie diaper/wrap as he isn’t fixed yet and may need to get used to the smells in your house. We’re hopeful that neutering will help with the marking behavior. (Beaux has an undescended testicle, so his neuter surgery will be a bit more complex than usual.) This lovable lug is full of personality, devotion, and charm. He’s looking for a forever home that understands the beauty of a big dog with a sensitive soul—a family that will give him the love, structure, and snuggles he craves.
