Story
Mysterious are the ways of the beautiful Betty Boop. She is named after the cartoon character who shares her sweet round face and big soulful eyes. Betty is a true enigma — with her lush, velvet-black coat and gentle spirit, she moves like a shadow: always near, but just out of reach. She is not a cat who demands the spotlight, but one whose presence brings a quiet kind of beauty to your home. Though she’s been with us for some time, she remains a “touch-me-not” — shy of human touch, yet full of quiet charm and gentle presence.Betty is a tender, playful spirit who comes alive when she feels safe and loved. She adores the company of other cats and finds comfort in their companionship — often following a confident feline friend from room to room like a quiet shadow. Playtime is when Betty truly shines: she’ll chirp softly to ask for a wand toy, then leap and dance with joy, always keeping a little distance but fully engaged and happy. She dances from a distance, content and curious, delighted simply to be alive, safe, and loved. Her soft meows and graceful movements reveal a playful heart. Watching her in these joyful moments is pure magic. She draws her greatest comfort from the cats around her — calm, confident companions who help her feel grounded and secure. She needs at least one feline friend to guide her: someone to follow, to lean on, to remind her she is home. She can be picked up if needed, but she’ll try to avoid it — freezing in fear rather than struggling.Betty Boop is a soft song in a loud world, a quiet treasure worth your time and tenderness. Her sweetness and playful spirit are unmistakable to those patient enough to watch and wait. With love from the right person — someone patient, kind, and cat-savvy — she will become the sweetest presence in your home. Could you be the one to give her a safe, loving home to continue her journey?Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883

Story
Isobelle is a petite floof with a purr so rich, it’s practically a love song. Queen Busy Bee Isobelle (to give her full title) adores being in the middle of whatever’s happening. She’s endlessly curious and insists on being part of every moment—whether she’s “helping” with work, following you like a shadow, or offering her royal opinion from her favorite perch. We find her completely irresistible… but be warned: ignore her too long, and she’ll invent her own brand of mischief.Isobelle enjoys meeting new admirers—as long as she’s holding court in her own domain. When guests arrive, she often struts straight into the spotlight, demanding attention (but only if the crowd is small and the vibes are just right). In quiet, cozy settings, she shines—charming everyone with her sass and sparkle. She’s a confident girl who knows exactly what she wants—and expects you to get the message. Isobelle needs an experienced cat person who’s fluent in feline. She’ll growl if she’s annoyed, swat if she’s pushed, and might even nip if you cross a line. But win her trust, respect her rules, and she just might let you scoop her up and cradle her like a baby. (Catch her in the right mood, and it’s pure magic.) Everything in her world happens on her terms and her timetable—and she’s not apologizing for it.Isobelle thrives in familiar territory and gets overwhelmed by change. She doesn’t show well at adoption events, so meet-and-greets happen in her foster home, where her confidence and personality truly shine. She gets along well with the large dog in her foster home and is comfortable around her canine companion. With other cats, she needs time and proper introductions—but once she warms up, she becomes a playful and affectionate companion. Her luscious long coat does require upkeep—especially those floofy pantaloons. Grooming and nail trims go best with a dose of gabapentin and a patient hand. (Yes, she’ll still complain—but a queen’s gotta have standards.) Vet visits follow the same rules: medication first, diplomacy second. If you’re a savvy cat lover who appreciates a little sass with your snuggles, Queen Isobelle may just be your perfect match. She’s opinionated, affectionate, gorgeously high-maintenance—and completely unforgettable.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883
