Story
Hello, I'm Dolorean, a distinguished black and white domestic long hair with a personality as unique as my looks. You see, I'm not your average cat. I've got these impressive jowls - a charming feature I developed after being neutered a bit later in life. At 5 years old, I'm what you might call a mature feline with a heart full of stories... and a heart murmur, just to keep things interesting. Now, I won't lie to you; I take my sweet time warming up to new humans. But once I do, we're in for a lifetime of loyalty. My previous family had to let me go due to financial and housing woes, so I'm on the lookout for a new forever home. I'm a bit of a thinker and an observer, often found prowling the upper levels of my enclosure, contemplating the mysteries of the universe (or just where my next chicken treat will come from). My heart might race with nervous excitement when I meet new people, but give me a little time, and I'll be lounging on my crijo, dreaming of our future adventures together. I'll also snuggle under blankets with you! If you're patient and understanding, willing to give a slightly grumpy but utterly charming gentleman cat a chance, then I'm the one for you. Let's meet and write our next chapter together, shall we?

Story
Spice is our long-haired black cat. He is playful with his brother Sizzle and has been very sweet with our kitten Pepper. He is on the more cautious side when it comes to personality but he’s warmed up a lot in the last month or two and we’re sure he’ll loosen up and be a wonderful cat companion once he’s in a safe and secure home. He does better with adults and we’re not sure about dogs one way or the other. He and his three brothers were found along with their mother and a sister by a friend of one of our dedicated fosters and volunteers. The finder cared for the two females and these four went into foster with us in early July. They arrived at the lounge Saturday, August 5th.

Story
My name is Alexander. I used to live in a community cat colony in Los Angeles. Our caregiver noticed that I had a swollen cheek and a cloudy eye so she brought me to the shelter for help. Well it turned out that they thought I would do better in a home with a family! Surfcat came to the rescue and took me to their vet. They helped me with my cheek and eye and I feel so much better. I do have some kidney issues, but I'm only 5 and my foster mom says I can beat this! I love people and friendly cats. I love to play with toys and take care of my kitten roommates. Thanks for reading my story...Update: Xander has lost most of his vision but gets along fine. He is still very persnickety about his beautiful long coat and grooms himself on a regular basis. Since his vision has been declining, he’s a little sensitive to loud noises. He’s a little shy at first because he can’t really see. A quiet home is best for him. He’s OK with other cats as long as he has a place to go and be alone. He likes his Catio time (secured and outdoors) so that he could have his fresh growing cat grass and get some sun and fresh air. Experienced cat people only. 2/15/2024Please fill out our adoption application by opening this link: https://surfcatcafe.org/adoption-application/

Hi I'm Picasso. I'm a little shy at first but you can love on me and even pick me up. I relax very quickly. I love to play with other cats, so please have another kitty at home or ask about adopting a second kitty from Surfcat. His BFF is Sammy van Gogh. Sammy is a little bit on the spectrum after being hit by a car and left for dead. Please consider me When you were adding another furry family member. I'm not much of a lap cat, but I'll gladly keep your barn free of any unwanted critters. Mice beware! So, if you're in need of a feline friend to watch over your barn and enjoy the rustic life, I'm your cat. Check me out at SPARC Ranch, where I'm living my best barn life.If interested in meeting me contact SPARC at 805-399-2781

Story
Hey there, fellow critters! Just arrived at SPARC and starting to get the hang of things. The sights, smells, and sounds are a bit overwhelming at first, but the staff seems pretty trustworthy. Slowly but surely, I'm getting used to this place. Keep an eye out for updates on my bio; hopefully, it'll help me find my forever home. Excited to see what the future holds!
