Story
Annie is a blind and partially deaf but sweet cat. She was born with these disabilities but does not let that stop her from living her normal cat life. She uses the litter box, will climb a cat tree, and navigates her surroundings all on her own. She is sweet towards humans and just wants a warm lap to cuddle in. She is a tiny cat at only 6.5 pounds and we call her our forever kitten. The reason we have to rehome her is her behavior around other animals. We have two other cats in our home prior to Annie, and unfortunately Annie gets very defensive of her home. We have taken her to the vet and have tried several medications for calming and anxiety, but nothing has changed her aggression towards the other cats, due to her disabilities. She needs to be in a home without any other pets. If you are looking for an independent cat to care for, she may be for you. We love her and want her to have a happy home where she isn't stressed out by the presence of other animals.

Story
We adopted Rio from a local rescue shelter when he was a kitten. He is a beautiful furry young cat, but not the lap cat or loving cat we wanted for company for our other cat. Rio is timid and hides most of time. He will lie with me in the bed, but as soon as my wife or someone else approaches, he takes off again. I see the potential to be a loving cat, but I am struggling to make him part of our family. He does interact with our other cat, but avoids our small dog. He sits and waits to eat and when the coast is clear he will quickly eat and hide again. He may be good for a quiet home with someone that has patience. He is not exposed to loud noises and has never been abused or mistreated by us in any way. I just cannot figure out why he such a scaredy cat. Hebis litter box trained and does not scratch furniture. Uses a scratch post on occasion and will sometimes play with his toys. Please help us find him another loving home. Thank you!

Maui is such a beautiful cat, much like the beautiful island she is named after! She loves attention, pets, and being held. And she was such a great mom to her kittens! But now it's time for her to find her new home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 6:49 pm
