Story
Meet MOIRA! Moira is approximately two years old and absolutely stunning. Moira had her last litter in February. She and her babies were left outside in the cold when Happy Jack Cats came to the rescue. Moira is very grateful to her foster mom for saving her and her one-day-old babies. Moira has a very intense look, but don't let those looks fool you.. She is very sweet and loyal and was an excellent mama to her babies. Moira does not like dogs and is probably better suited in a quiet, low activity home as a single cat. If you're interested in adopting this sweet girl and giving her a safe, loving furrever home, please fill out the PAW (Potential Adopter Worksheet): https://www.shelterluv.com/publish_animal/HJC-A-3016 Spayed Female FIV/FeLV negative Age appropriate vaccines Microchipped Treated for parasites ~~~~~~~~ Indoor-only living No declawing $75 adoption fee Please enrich her indoor life with tall cat trees, scratching posts, hidey-holes, window seats, a drinking fountain, interactive play time with her humans, toys and nutritious food.

Story
(Located In Meridian, ID) We bought a kitten for my friend who is a 73 year old widow and lives alone with her dog, and had to have her 21 year old cat put down. She kept the kitten for about 3 months and he wasn’t getting along with her dog, so she asked us to take him back. The original owner who I bought him from wouldn’t take him back, and now we have him. We named him Joey, and considered keeping him and we have 3 other cats. Our 3rd cat is mean to him but we are all in love with her. Joey is a good kitty but he wants to explore outside a lot so he meows to be let out. We live in a subdivision and he keeps getting into the neighbors yards and in the street. He needs a place with more room to explore the outdoors, and we never intended on keeping him in the first place, he kind of just doesn’t fit our family well. He is well litterbox trained, super sweet, and weighs about 12 pounds, has been neutered, and is a pretty tuxedo cat. We live in Meridian near Ustick and Meridian Rd.

Story
Meet Addie!  Addie is a long-haired tabby with white. She is approximately 6 years old. She was adopted and returned due to allergies in the home. She is currently shaved with a lion’s cut. She has high grooming needs and either needs consistent grooming that includes shaving and brushing. Please think about if you can handle either taking her to to a groomer or handle grooming her yourself prior to adoption. She’s the sweetest girl who is laidback and affectionate. She is content to do her own thing and seek out attention when she wants it. She loves to be petted and will give you the best head bumps. She enjoys her wet food and treats. She seems to be comfortable in almost any environment and adjusts relatively quickly without any issues. She does okay with other cat but favors cats who leave her alone. She would make a great only cat or do great with another cat who wants to co-exist. We aren’t sure about dogs. She did good with an older kid in her previous adopted home but it depends on the personality and energy levels of your kid(s). We recommend bringing in your kids to make sure she’s comfortable with them. She’s a great kitty who is looking for her perfect forever home. Story
Meet Mesa (pronounced Misa)!   Mesa is a long-haired kitty who is about 9 years old. She came to us as an owner surrender after her owner could no longer keep her due to moving. She’s a wonderful kitty who is likely part Maine Coon. She’s a big girl who has lots of hair and very high grooming needs.  She’s an independent girl who wants attention when she wants it. She likes her space but loves people too. She enjoys chin rubs and gives head bumps on her terms. She would be great for someone looking for a companion but likely not a lap cat. She doesn’t enjoy it when you push her boundaries and will enforce them either with a bite or scratches. She loves her treats. She is neutral towards her kitty roommates and is content to do her own thing but isn’t aggressive. She did great with two small dogs in her previous home and played with them. She would be a great fit if you like cats who know what they want and let you know when they want attention. Mesa is ready to find a new home. Stop in today and meet her!  Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs.
