Shadow and her 3 kittens had been living under a shed when someone brought them to the shelter. They were all well socialized and healthy looking, so like so many of our animals, their story is a mystery. Shadow is now done raising her kits, and two have already been adopted. Shadow is hoping it will soon be her turn! She's a gentle and quiet girl with beautiful green eyes. She seems neutral toward other cats, doesn't really want to be friends but doesn't cause trouble either. Very lovely girl!

My name is Dusty. My owner tamed me as I was born outside and she brought me in. I am neutered and front declawed.My owner passed away and I need a good home. I love to be petted and brushed. I will lay on your lap sometimes for a little while. I have long hair and it will get matted if I'm not brushed. I like the laser light and the little balls that you throw I will sometimes bring back to you to throw again. I am a little over weight so I am a little lazy right now. I really love my food. I had a time after my owner passed that I wasn't taken care of to well and had to be shaved cause they didn't groom me at all. I also am pretty mellow but don't really liked to be picked up. I really like cat nip too. I'm around 8 years old and my shots are up to date.

I'm a little shy when I'm in a new environment, but it doesn't take me too long to warm up. I love to be brushed and I love to lay and look out the window for hours. Hi they named me Mama can you guess why....yep I was pregnant when I came to Almost Home. I had a litter of kittens and they have all been adopted. I'm not a huge fan of other cats. I'm still young and maybe over time I could come to love hang out with other cats but right now I need a home with no other pets. I am super friendly and love to cuddle and be pet. I am just waiting for my forever home to come along and take me home. I am up to date on my shots, micro-chipped and spayed. Do you have room for me in your home?
