Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jessa is a gorgeous, floofy, long haired tortoiseshell kitty, and is a perfect combination of sugar and spice. She is sweet and craves laptime, but has just a touch of harmless “tortitude.” She was found outside in late winter as a youngster – cold, thin, and hungry. Since coming to Last Hope, she has been enjoying the safe and warm indoor life and making new cat and kitten friends. She has a quiet and soft-mannered demeanor. Although a quiet cat, Jessa has her affectionate and playful moments. She tends to seek out affection on her own terms, and is not at all “clingy,” but when she wants pets, she wants pets and thoroughly enjoys them! She enjoys wand toys, catnip mice, and even some playful wrestling and bunny kicking with her cat roommates – the ones that tolerate it anyways. Jessa can be little timid with new people at first, but once she warms up to someone, she is a loyal friend. She might put on a bit of a grumbly show (that tortitude!) with new cats at first, just to establish that she is royalty and shall be treated as such, but she comes around with slow and proper introductions and actually seems to enjoy the company of other cats. Although Jessa will play with and groom foster kittens, but she also gets along with the adult male cats she has been roommates with – they know she has a little sass and ‘tude, and respect her space. Jessa would be happiest in a low-key household without rambunctious younger children or bouncy pups. She tolerates both, but often gets overwhelmed by too much commotion when it occurs and will hide. She would adore being the single pampered princess cat, or in a household with another low key cat or two. Because of Jessa’s gorgeous long coat, she will need her humans to be dedicated to occasionally brushing her coat and monitoring for mats in her fur. Jessa is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Her adoption fee is $100. This covers her spay, current vaccinations, FeLV/FIV test, microchip, deworming, and monthly flea treatments. Last Hope requires that all cats be kept current on vaccinations and are *indoor* pets only.  If you are interested in meeting this sweet and sassy Tortie, please fill out an application on our website. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Champ is a sweet senior guy looking for an easy going forever home.  Champ came to rescue after having been dumped by a previous owner, he was left alone outside with no way to defend himself as he had been 4-paw declawed at some point in his adult life.  We find Champ to be a warm and friendly cat, he happily greets you with an arched back and requests more pets when you give him some attention.  Champ will love having an owner that can brush and groom his beuatiful long fur, as he has aged he doesn't do the job that he used to on keeping his coat looking its best. Champ is not a match with young or rambunctious cats, he will live much easier with equally calm and laid back adult or senior cats.  Champ's adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and FeLV/FIV testing. Champ requires an indoor only home, if you would like to meet him please submit an adoption application through our website.  Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any current/former pets altered, as indoor pets only and kept current on annual vaccines and vet visits.  Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2025, 8:08 pm

Buster was adopted from CRACC as an adult in 2011. In 2020, his owner moved to a nursing home and Buster came to stay with us. Within a month he was adopted, and everything was fine until a toddler started visiting the home daily. Buster began spraying the child's belongings. Buster has been returned to us and is doing great - no spraying. Buster needs a quiet home with no children or other pets.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Isabel. I was adopted once before when I was just a kitten but ended up back at the rescue due to no fault of my own. It took me a long time to learn to trust people again. I am a an older girl and I tend to be shy or cautious around strangers, but once I get used to you I will enjoy lots of love and pets! I'm not a big fan of being picked up yet, and I'm not much of a lap cat. I will need some time to settle in and get used to a new routine, so I am looking for an adopter that will give me lots of patience in a nice and quiet home that is very cat friendly. Since I am still pretty timid, I would prefer to go to a home with no small children as I do prefer my space and I am unsure if I like dogs. I currently am living with other adults kitties, but I prefer to spend my time cuddling with the other laid-back cats instead of playing. If you're looking for a super chill feline friend, I am your girl! Isabel's adoption fee is $85 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.  If you would like to meet Isabel, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 6:20 pm
