Story
Meet Simba! Previously known as Nalah, we recently discovered that our one-eyed kitten is actually a boy! At around four months old, Simba is a medium to long-haired orange fluffball who is as sweet as can be. This little survivor had a rough start, arriving at Pet Savers with a severe upper respiratory infection. Sadly, he had already lost his right eye—likely due to infection—but thanks to the love and care of our volunteers and staff, we were able to save his second eye! Now, he’s healthy, happy, and thriving. Simba adores being held and petted and gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs. He’s already litter box trained and eating solid food. Whether you’re an active family or a homebody, Simba will fit right in—he loves both playtime and snuggles! Ready to give this sweetheart his forever home? Apply today! petsaversshreveport.org April 6, 2025, 11:38 am

Curry is a domestic long-haired orange male cat who was left at our door in a cage, along with two others. Despite the tough start, he’s incredibly sweet and trusting. He melts into your hand when you pet him, leaning in as if he’s been waiting for that kindness. Curry is gentle, affectionate, and clearly wants to connect. Story
Ginger is a domestic long-haired orange and white female cat who was left at our door with two others. She’s extremely cautious around people and clearly unsure of her surroundings. Right now, Ginger keeps her distance and isn’t ready to trust—but she’s been through a lot, and that hesitation is understandable. She would do best in a quiet home with someone who respects her boundaries and is willing to give her the time and space she needs. With patience, there’s hope she’ll begin to feel more at ease.
