Story
Introducing Tammy – Your One-Woman Show Well hello there, peasants—uh, I mean future loyal subjects. My name is Tammy, I’m a 2–3-year-old long-haired Tortie, and let me tell you… I am FAB-U-LOUS. Like, hair commercial fabulous. I’m calm. I’m sweet. I’m the whole fluffy package. But here’s the deal: I don’t do roommates. No cats. No dogs. No goldfish. No nonsense. I am the Beyoncé of the feline world, and Beyoncé does not share the stage. What I will do is grace your home with my fantabulous presence, purr like an angel, and make you wonder how you ever survived without me. Adopt me today, and get ready to say the words you’ll be repeating daily: “Tammy, you’re perfect.” This cat is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this cat's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. The adoption fee is $35 and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies if not already done.

Story
Sunny is past all the rambunctious fun of a kitten and just wants a window ledge to lay in to sun herself and watch the birds. She is affectionate on her terms and will come to sit in your lap, but she just craves the quiet life. She does need to be an only child as she doesn't like other cats. If you're looking for a sweet older gal that knows how to chill and watch some good stuff on TV, this is your cat!!

Story
Goldie is such a sweet girl, but a bit scared at first. She will just need reassurance that she is in a safe place. She came to us as a cruelty case with many "siblings" so she is used to being with other cats.

Story
Meet Aurelia, a bright-eyed one-year-old beauty with a heart that’s still blooming. After bravely raising three healthy kittens at a young age—proving herself to be a wonderfully devoted little mama—she’s finally getting her turn to enjoy the spotlight. Aurelia is incredibly affectionate and adores human attention; she’ll follow you around with her soft, chatty meows, practicing her growing vocabulary of “please adore me” sounds. She’s still learning that laps are not dangerous landing zones but actually warm, cozy cuddle spots, and she’s making the sweetest progress. Playtime is her happy place, especially when catnip toys are involved—she pounces like she’s starring in her own tiny action movie. Aurelia would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention, preferably without dogs (she is very clear about her feelings on that topic). She might do well with another friendly cat who respects her space. If you’re looking for a loving, expressive companion who’s ready for her own chapter filled with comfort and affection, Aurelia is your girl.
