Story
Marty was found at a marina and brought to the shelter in very bad shape. He is doing much better now, but he has tested positive for FIV. This is very contagious to other cats, so he will have to be the only cat in the home as he really doesn't get along with other cats or dogs. He is friendly to people though. If you think you can provide a home for Marty, please fill out an application on our website daslakeoftheozarks.com. Primary Color: Grey Age: 8yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
This is Kuro. He was born in 2013 and has only ever been with me and my family. He is neutered. He is extremely loving. He loves kids and other animals and still plays at his old age. We have been put in extremely hard circumstances to where we have had to make the choice to rehome him and our other senior cat as well. Kuro(pronounced koo-roh) means black in Japanese. I named him when I was I was a teen and would greatly prefer he not be renamed. He has been with me from a teen to moving cities to marriage and starting my own family. He is a very special guy and deserves nothing but the best. He has something wrong with his eye and has been to the vet in the past for it. We trialed medication before moving forward with another option. Due to our circumstances we are unable to take him back to the vet to get the treatment he needs for his eye to heal. So please be aware that he will come with some extra expenses. Please someone give him a loving home with the care he needs for his eye.

Story
Check out this sweet, special needs bonded pair! MARMALADE is a petite fella who was found all alone on the steps of a local bank - people went in and out for hours and he sat right there...watching and waiting...frozen in fear. He is looking for a calm home with his buddy COLONEL. 😻 COLONEL has a mild case of cellebellar hyperplasia as he is on the wobbly side. He came to us in need of a variety of assistance as a tiny thing and he even had FHO surgery on his hip. He has been learning to walk well again and is a fan favorite of the volunteers because he is the sweetest and most cuddly boy. ❤ He sure loves MARMALADE and together they take care of one another. IF you have a laid back, calm home on one story these boys may be just who you are looking for. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/edit/a.3248190108779294 WOW cats are fully vetted to age with a lifetime microchip.
