Story
PREFERS A HOME WITHOUT  male cats, dogs, children. Meet Buddy Kittens: Buddy Kittens is a 9-year-old (as of 3/13/22), domestic long-haired neutered male. Buddy Kittens has been in his current foster home since September 2020. He has done almost a 180 change since he's been there, and it's time for him to move on to a new home, either through fostering or adoption. His foster mom has done amazing work with Buddy, and would love to keep him, but she lives in a small house and has cats of her own. One of her cats is an alpha male, and needless to say, two alphas in a small house don't work very well. Buddy would do best in a quiet home with one or two adults (no children) who have solid experience with cats. To our knowledge, he has never been around dogs and because of that, we would not recommend that he live with dogs. A home with no male cats would also be preferred. He's a character with lots of personality who loves to talk. The other alpha male is temporarily no longer in the home which has helped Buddy relax. He’s sleeping next to his foster mom’s pillow & getting along well with the female cats. Buddy had a loving home from kittenhood, but two cross country moves & the arrival of two babies to the original household proved overwhelmingly stressful for him. Buddy ended up with a case of PTSD that turned him grumpy & reactive. Underneath that grumpy exterior, though, we could see a heart of gold. His current foster mom has done a great job bringing that out in him. He can be quite cuddly. We would love to find someone who can continue bringing out his sweetness. He has mellowed quite a bit, especially after weekly sessions of energy healing. (He goes monthly now.) He also needs to lose weight & continue with a thyroid supplement (kelp) that gets mixed into his wet food. Aside from being overweight, he is perfectly healthy. There's a lot of him to love.   Our adoption application can be found here: http://catnetwork.org/adoption-application-and-fees/ Website: catnetwork.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheCatNetworkSTL/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/catnetworkstl Instagram: @stlcatnetwork To learn more, please contact us at info@catnetwork.org or text/call the PURR line at 636-386-7877 (text preferred).December 8, 2023, 12:02 am

Story
We got Mo (2ys) from the Humane Society a few years ago. When we got her, we were told that the previous owners surrendered her saying they didn’t have enough time for her. We weren’t sure what that meant at the time, since they hadn’t been able to tell us anything else about her health or history. She’s a very sweet girl, but she has quite a few issues we just aren’t able to help her with. As far as we know, she currently has fleas we have treated and tried to get rid of, but our carpeted apartment and very limited time has made it difficult. She has a flat face that makes it hard for her to clean herself, breathe, or even close her eyes fully, meaning she is very oily and gets hair caught in her eyes often. Lastly, she has an earwax buildup issue in her left ear that we have been cleaning and have tried to give her medication for, but nothing has really helped so far. We really do love Mochi, she just needs someone who can do more for her than we can right now. Contact with questions
