Our love for each other blossomed in the shelter environment and we couldn’t be happier that we found each other! We can never be found too far apart, and we provide each other with a lot of comfort, support, and confidence! I (Zipper) am a very mellow and sweet guy with a whole lot of love to give! I was rescued from under the Reserve Street Bridge and I am so excited to experience the love of having a home! I (Morticia) can be a little sassy at times, but if you gain my trust, I love pets/attention! I have the most confidence when I am around Zipper and if he is getting scratches, then I want them too! We would do best in a mature, adult home with people who will give us the time we need to adjust! We can’t wait to find our perfect match! However, it is important to pay attention to my social cues, as I experience discomfort from my broken foot. I also enjoy chomping on toy mice and getting catnip in my long luscious fur. I like lounging in cat trees and observing my kennel mates play and interact with visitors. I would love to have a perch in a window where I could peek at all the critters outside. Sprout is part of a bonded pair with Roxy. Our love for each other started even before our time in the shelter. We came from a hoarding situation and were very sick with feline chlamydia, which has now been treated by antibiotics. We are feeling MUCH better and are no longer contagious. We are both very sweet girls who love human interaction and attention! I (Sprout) am the more outgoing one. I love to rub up on your leg and will purr as soon as you start petting me. I (Roxy) also love pets and love, but can usually be found hiding in a cat tree and may need to sniff your finger before I’m fully ready for your love. We would do best in a calm, quiet home environment together. We love other kitties and would love to go to a home with other cats. A few addition details about adopting a kitten from HSWM:- The adoption fee for kittens (8-20 weeks old) is $150. -Kittens adoptions are a "Buy one get one free" deal. We encourage adopters to adopt two kittens because they do so well in pairs! - All kittens will come with at least their first dose of the FVRCP vaccine. This is a series of vaccines and all kittens under 20 weeks/5 months of age will require booster vaccines to ensure they are fully protected. Once they have completed the series, this becomes an annual vaccine.-Kittens will also receive at least an initial round of dewormer.-Kittens need to be at least 12 weeks of age to receive a Rabies vaccine. If a kitten is too young to receive this vaccine, adopters will be sent with a $15 vaccine voucher that can be taken to a primary veterinarian. This is included in the adoption fee.-All kittens will be microchipped prior to adoption, and we register that microchip when we process an adoption.-All kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Pepper is a stunning black kitty with long soft hair that begs to be petted! He can be shy and timid at first, but once he warms up to you he's the friendliest feline you'll ever meet. Pepper loves to play and hunt, but only after he's had a minute to get comfortable in his new surroundings. Harriet Tubman is a regal Oriental Longhair with a sweet and shy demeanor. Despite her quiet nature she is a true beauty with soft fur and a pretty face. She came to us with a litter of kittens and she was a fantastic mamma. Now that the kittens are old enough to find homes of their own, she is looking for her forever safe place to land. She is a little frightened but with a slow introduction, she could be your new snuggly friend.! She loves to play with wand toys and indulge in some catnip but also enjoys lounging on a soft lap She would thrive in a peaceful quiet home where she can feel safe and loved.
