Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I have been allowed to go outside and that is where I prefer to be. I will need to go to a forever home which has a safe, secure, heated area for me to go in on cold nights. I was originally rescued from the Valencia County Shelter when I was a  kitten.  I was surrendered back to HART because my owner took a job out of the country and could not take me with him.  I am cautious in new situations and prefer to watch from a distance, but I'm very friendly once I'm comfortable in a new environment.  I have been neutered, microchipped and am current on my vaccinations.  09 10 22 - Feline Leukemia test (Negative), Rabies and FVRCP/Leukemia vaccine Combo 09 23 16 - Neuter & Microchipped ##1525922##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
She is approximately 8 years old. She spent time at two different homes before she was a year old, we suspect she was probably abused. She is very quiet, keeps to herself, unless she is feeling nosey, and only gets vocal if you're nearby and she is hungry. She has a sweet disposition, gives lots of love nibbles, and you can scratch her rear end for hours and she wouldn't get tired of it. We try to brush her often to keep the excess hair down. Gets very vocal for treats and especially wet food and will rub in between your legs. She does not seek out attention unless she's hungry, but will not get upset if you happen upon her. We don't know how she does with other cats or dogs. She has not been around children much but when she is she tolerates them well, she doesn't get hostile. We gave her scratching posts and she always went after those with enthusiasm and not the furniture. She could use a quieter home, with a place for her to hide during the day.

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I like head and back scratches. I do not like my belly or paws touched. I sometimes need my fur maintained and can tolerate clippers for short periods of time. I love to play with wire or string toys and especially love being outside in all types of weather. I do not get on counters but I love lounging on the furniture or cat towers. I have a hard time getting along with other cats but since I act more like a dog, I might enjoy their company. Pros Does tricks for treats Asks for pets - very vocal Will catch mice Potty trained for litter box and outside Listens to single word commands Tolerates being held - not for long periods Will sit on your lap Polydactyl with claws Cons Will catch lizards and birds Demands food Dominance problem with other cats Pees to tell you he doesn't like something Eats and drinks to fast, will throw up High maintenance due to fur Hairballs - food and treats can be used to help
