Story
Black Kitty was unfortunately brought to us amid landlord issues in late March. Shelter life has not been the easiest on this docile girl, you may find her hiding away the day in our Mitzi's room. Give this gorgeous girl some time and gentle pets, and she could really blossom into a lovable companion.

Story
Dear Adopter, Hello, I'm Beauregard! I'm a friendly and outgoing extra large gorgeous long hair male who is about 6.75 years old with an approximate birth date of 6/10/16. I like people, and I'm a good companion cat for the right person/couple. I was brought to this rescue to find a new living situation, because my previous person passed away. I'm an alpha male with a strong personality towards other cats, so I will need to be an only the only cat in your household. I have a special needs behavior: I will let you know if I don't like something (I have the potential to give you a warning nip), so I need to be in an adult only household without children. In general though I'm pleasant and happy the majority of the time. I would like to be adopted by someone who is willing to respect my signals as to help prevent me from becoming triggered. I especially don't like to be groomed, so I go to the vet to have my nails trimmed and any fur matting shaved off if I need it. I like to come over to see you, be in your area, and will follow you around as you move about your daily routine. I'm vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and I'm ready to go home. Is there room in your heart for a more quirky cat like me? I'd be so grateful to be adopted into a loving home again. Love, Beau ~~To express an interest in adopting me please take the first step by filling out an adoption application for me at kittycorner.org under the Adoption tab, or at this link https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/  Please make certain that your email address is correct. With an accepted application KittyCorner will contact you by email to set up a time for you to come meet me. All KittyCorner cats come with a lifetime "cat-back" guarantee. If at any time for any reason I need to be returned/rehomed, please just return me to KittyCorner. They will happily take me back. KittyCorner wants to be sure that I will always have a safe place to stay. Thanks for considering adopting me! ~~Our purple heart cats will need more time or attention than the average cat, but are just as in need of love. They may require extra help adjusting to their new home, or may have special medical or behavior needs. Purple cats can be the RIGHT CAT for experienced owners, or those with a little extra patience. Story
Minnie is Nico’s mom- she needs a new home as well. Minnie is a very sassy but kinda skittish little lady- but she loves getting pets and laying on the highest spot in the room. I’m hoping to find them a loving home with more space than I could provide. They don’t necessarily have to be together, Nico and Minnie, but I would prefer if they were.

Story
I am not a cat person at all, but my husband and daughters really wanted to get a cat. We went to the local animal shelter and fell in love with a 5 month old female kitten and adopted her immediately. She settled into our house very quickly and got along very well with our dog (a Golden Retriever). For about a year and a half, things were great with Zoe. It wasn’t until our dog passed away and we got a new puppy that things started to change. The dog would chase Zoe around and we noticed she started urinating in one corner of the house. Then we added another puppy into the mix and she started to urinate on two of our couches. We took her to the vets so many times to be tested for UTIs, they always came back negative. The vet felt she was urinating due to the stress of having the new dogs. She gave us several suggestions that we tried but it still isn't completing curing her issues. I believe she would benefit from being in a home without young dogs.
