Story
Say hello to Chico, a big, handsome, sweet, gentle boy who loves life. He is very calm and laid-back. Chico prefers watching the outside from a cat tree or napping as opposed to running and playing. He gets along fine with other cats and will allow the young kittens to run over him while he is stretched out on the floor. He thinks scratches and rubs are great. If you are looking for a sweet, calm boy to add to your family, Chico is your guy! Are you interested in adopting Chico or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

Story
I currently have a male (Black domestic longhair), Simba, 1 and a half years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with all of his shots. Due to increased travel demands at my job, seeking a new home for him. He likes to play and love sitting on the window sill to watch birds and nature. Simba sometimes stays to himself and relaxes in his indoor cat tree while looking out the window. He enjoys being petted, picked up, and he’s a big cuddler. Simba is a loving, gentle and sweet cat. We’re looking for a new home for Simba, someone who can provide a loving and peaceful environment.
