Story
Fez (Fezzik) is about 6 months old, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. He has been a tough nut to crack, since he was rescued as a young kitten in a feral colony. He has worked really hard over the last 3 months to adjust to life with people! Recently, he has been enjoying cuddles on the couch with his foster mom, and he adores her resident cats. He's very reliant on social cues from other cats and has helped the chubby resident kitty to lose weight, running around and playing with him. He's had dramatic, albeit slow improvements with socialization, so he's still a little hesitant with the foster mom. But she swaddles him like a baby, for nail trims and meds, and he never fights it. He loves churu treats, and while he's licking them down is the best time to get in some pets and head scratches. But he also seems to enjoy pets when he snuggles on the couch next to foster mom to watch TV. Fez loves chasing wand toys, and he's truly the sweetest fluff ball, with the softest fur ever. We believe he's ready for a forever home, but he needs a special person who is willing to invest time into gaining his trust. He also really needs other cats. Patience, consistency and love are the way to win this little boy's heart. His foster mom welcomes any conversation about him and is ready to give insight and advice on making Fez a part of your loving family. Apply to adopt at savinggraces4felines.org. Story
Mona (which means "wish/desire") and her three little darlings came to us through a rescue in Durham that was doing TNR for community cats. Because Mona was so very loving, this rescue reached out to any group they could, to try and find her and her kittens a placement. One of our awesome foster homes agreed to make space for the family of four, and we're so glad they did! This fuzzy, cuddly, playful kitty family deserves the very best, and Mona is such a sweet, caring mother kitty that we want to make sure she gets the purrfect home that she deserves! Story
Meet Snowbelle, my large white loaf of laziness. He is completely white, and has one blue and one brown/ green eye. He's a beautiful, lazy, long haired boy. He currently lives with a 5 year old, 2 dogs, and 3 other cats, but I don't think he's a good fit for a busy home with small children. He's not a huge fan of either honestly, he just wants to be left alone. He's literally the most CAT cat I know. I got him when I was 14, so he has a very special place in my heart, which is why I'm trying to do what's best for him and find him a better fit. Full disclosure: I've had some issues with him having pee accidents when the litter box isn't cleaned at least every other day, but other than that, he's the best boy!
