Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Belpre, Ohio

This beautiful pair of kittens (Pongo & Patch) were brought to HSOV on October 21, 2025 after they were found in Marietta Ohio fending for themselves. They were estimated to have been 6-months old at that time. Pongo has a brown tabby/white longhaired coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with golden eyes, a brown tabby cap on his head, nice ‘ear furnishings’, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Patch has a dark brown tabby coat short smooth coat with a white chest, white paws, and an adorable face that will surely melt your heart. Patch is listed as a ‘Special Needs’ kitty since he has an ulcer in his right eye and is likely blind in his left eye. Patch's left eye may have to be removed. Pongo and Patch were neutered on November 3, 2025 and were also given rabies vaccine. Pongo weighed 5.2 lbs that day. Patch weighed 4.18 lbs. Pongo and Patch were given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Pyrantel wormer on November 6th 2025. They were given booster vaccines on November 22, 2025. We feel that it is in their best interest to remain together since Patch especially depends upon Pongo for security and companionship. This bonded pair of best friends/brothers are currently sharing a double-wide cage our Jungle Room and would love to find a fabulous home (together of course). Mojave is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who arrived at HSOV on October 16, 2025 when she had been placed in a carrier and left in a location close to our shelter. Unfortunately whoever placed her there did not provide any information about Mojave, so we don't know if she was an owner surrender or what her background story was. This little beauty queen has a long-haired brown tabby coat with a large patch of white on her chest/belly, white paws, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with gorgeous green eyes, a white spot of her nose, a white muzzle, and extra-long white whiskers. Mojave was understandably a frightened young lady when she first entered our shelter. Thanks to our compassionate HSOV Kennel Techs, Mojave is acclimating to her new surroundings and is feeling more at ease these days. Mojave can be a bit of a ‘diva’ but enjoys attention/petting these days from our HSOV kennel techs. Mojave was taken to a veterinarian clinic on November 3rd 2025 where it was determined that she had already been spayed. She was given rabies vaccine that day. Mojave weighs approximately 8 lbs so her long-haired coat gives her the appearance of a much larger cat. Mojave would dearly love to find a home with a special someone who would have the time/patience to let her acclimate in her new home and give her a chance to show you the sweet side of her personality.

Daisy Mae is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on April 12, 2025 along with her two companions (Angel and Shadow) for a very sad reason because their beloved mistress had passed away, and they suddenly became homeless. Daisy Mae has a brown tabby longhaired coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, nice 'ear furnishings', a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on her muzzle/chin, and extra-long white whiskers. This little sweetheart has a lovable, rather demure, personality. Her mistress' grandson (who brought them to our shelter) reported that they were ok with children and also with other cats. Daisy Mae was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 24, 2025. She weighed 8 lbs that day. Daisy Mae's longhaired coat gives her the appearance of being larger than she really is. Daisy Mae and her best friend/sibling (Angel) are currently sharing a large tower in the lobby of our shelter, and they dearly love each other. We have listed Daisy Mae and Angel as a bonded pair since they depend upon each other for comfort/security, and we feel that it is in their best interest to find a home together. Daisy Mae has already been spayed, and Angel has been neutered .. So they could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application. Sylvester was surrendered to the shelter. His momma loved cats very much but had too many that she couldn't care for. His mother is now in a nursing home so we had to go in and remove her cats. Sylvester can be shy at first but he is full of so much love. He is such a handsome long haired black and white kitty. Neutered and up to date. Adoption fee is $50
