I love sweet pickles, and the Pickles we have at the shelter right now is the sweetest. He is 3 years old, has medium length black fur with a few white spots, and a fat, kissable face that you will just love! He is very laid back and sweet, but won't turn down any opportunity to play, as he did a lot of in between his glamour shots. Kitty is a sweet 13-year old female Tuxedo kitty who was brought to HSOV on May 1, 2024 because her owner/mistress who had loved her very much had passed away recently. A family member was able to give Kitty a temporary home for several months but was unable to keep her since the lease agreement only permitted her to have one cat in her residence. Kitty has a black-and-white longhaired coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful symmetrically-marked face with large golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. This lovely senior citizen has a calm, quiet disposition and is quite friendly. She has been a real sweetheart in our shelter and doesn't ask much except for a gentle touch, a nice warm place to take cat naps, and tasty food/fresh water. We were told that Kitty has some of the ailments which come with the privilege of a long life. She has mild arthritis and often doesn't make it to the litterbox. We don't know yet how Kitty feels about children or other cats/dogs. Kitty has been spayed, and her vaccinations are up-to-date as of January 22, 2024. She weighed 9.5 lbs on May 1, 2024. Kitty would love to find another home where she could spend her retirement years being loved by someone special. She is available for adoption and also for rescue.
