Story
Baby Cloud is a wonderful cat who shows kindness and affection to those who care for him. He gets along well with dogs, adults, and calm children. He also tolerates other cats well until he becomes accustomed to them. After adopting Cloud and having him for 9 years, we cannot give him the love and care he deserves, as we’re welcoming two more children into our toddler household. We love Cloud…he just doesn’t get to experience that love all the time, and that really breaks our hearts and has us seeking rehoming.

Story
Lara is absolutely beautiful. Her pictures really don't do her any justice. She is about 3 years old, and has longer hair. Her coloring is black and white except for on her back there is a tint of brown mixed in. Very unusual and cool. A Good Samaritan noticed Lara living outdoors back in March. Most of male cats in the neighborhood are not neutered so no surprise she brought this person 5 beautiful kittens. All Kittens have gone to rescue, and now it is Lara’s time to find a safe and loving, forever home. With all the unneutered males I wasn't shocked that Lara has tested positive for FIV, and negative for leukemia.. FIV is a cat specific virus. It is spread from one cat to another via a deep bite wound. You cannot catch FIV. Cats can and do live full lifespans with FIV. LARA is a sweetheart and so deserving of a loving indoor home where she will be safe and loved. . She is also dog friendly, spayed and vaccinated. Lara is a bit shy but totally nonconfrontational. To meet Lara, call me Kathy Deptola Animal Rescue 440 862 0610, kdanimalrescue@gmail.com Her adoption fee is $100 and you will receive copies of all her vet records.

Story
Betty was rescued from outdoors by a friend of Viva Los Gatos who knew her owner had kicked her out permanently, possibly because she does not get along well with other cats. This was not her first owner, as she had previously been found wandering and no owner could be located. She is microchipped but the chip does not appear to be registered. She was very matted when she came into rescue and needed to be partially shaved; she will likely need regular brushing or grooming her whole life due to her very soft, fine hair. Betty is young, healthy, affectionate and snuggly, though she doesn't like being picked up. She is brave and curious and loves attention from her foster family and strangers alike. She is generally tolerant of the family dog but slaps him if he tries to smell her. She is probably a little too aggressively affectionate for small children - she likes to love nip when she's being petted, and sometimes she nips pretty hard. She is a beautiful, dignified princess who demands respect - whether it's extensive lap time, a little of your sandwich, a chair she has claimed as no longer yours, or the right to NOT be picked up - and she will complain loudly if she does not receive this respect. Betty is 2-4 years old, spayed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is looking for a home without other cats, older children or no children, and no dog or a cat-tolerant dog who will respect her boundaries. She is very curious about outdoors and has slipped outside once so far - this roaming habit is probably how she ended up lost in the first place. Interested in adopting Betty or one of our other wonderful kitties? Please visit www.VivaLosGatosCatRescue.org and complete our no-obligation, online adoption application from any PC or mobile device. Viva Los Gatos is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and adopts to residents of Northeast Ohio. Adoptions to residents outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis.
