Story
Lucas is a cuddle bug, but also a very stereotypical cat. He'll crawl in your lap, headbutt your hands for love, and then want you to stop touching him. Promptly. But all in all, he's a very sweet cat. Lucas loves to chase things and plays well with cats and dogs, but I'm sure he'd need time adjusting to new friends. Lucas is a normal cat. He'll find somewhere to lay and lay there. His motto is, "if I fits, I sits." The only "problem" we have with Lucas is his hairballs. He's a long haired cat, and occasionally will hack up a hairball. We've had him professionally shaved in the past, and that takes care of that! Lucas would do just fine in a home with or without other animals. I'm sure he'd need to be introduced to other animals slowly, as he's been with me and our pets for his entire life. We have 2 children under 3, work full-time, and I've developed pretty severe pet allergies as I've gotten older. We just aren't giving him the love and attention he deserves!

Story
Bear's mom came to us already pregnant as a stray a little over five years ago. We caught her, helped her raise her young, and fixed her. She had a home set up, but the adoption fell through months later. We decided to keep her and add her to the family, however she hasn't ever gotten comfortable with our other cats or our crazy lifestyle. She prefers a calmer household with no other cats although she does love our dog and has had no issue with calmer children. She's a very healthy and loving cat, but is constantly causing other cats in the household to be unhappy and stressed and we would love nothing more than to give her a home that let's her be the lovable cuddlebug we know she is.

Story
Bear is a bit of an aloof kitten.  He can be cranky until he feels safe and he trust you.  Once he does trust is is quite a purr ball! He has been around other cats but not out with them.  He will need a quiet home preferably without small children.October 24, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
Charlie is a black long-haired male with an estimated birthdate of 1/20/24.  He is currently shy and might hiss at you and then he’s happy being petted when you start slowly.  He also might jump on your lap if you sit in his room.  Per his previous foster, he was an outside cat in an apt complex.  He was let inside periodically.  Once he warmed up, he became the sweetest, most affectionate little buddy.  He liked attention and playtime with balls, toys and anything spritzed with catnip. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  He has a Home Again microchip and StreetCats will register it to his new adopter.  (It is the law in Oklahoma that all cats get an annual rabies vaccination.)  StreetCats adoption fee - $75; If adopter is 65 years or older the adoption fee is $65.  StreetCats is located at 3105 S. Winston Ave. (one block west of 31st & Yale) in Tulsa.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area. Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc.January 24, 2026, 3:05 pm
