Story
Rannoch is the kind of cat that seeks out attention and loves to be pet and scratched and he likes to talk. He walks around meowing for your pleasure.  He came out of the shelter so we dont know his background but he did have some hair loss from suspected flea allergy.  He was given flea treatments and no further hair loss is happening save for the shaved area from his neuter surgery.  He likes to be brushed with a slicker brush He’s about 4 years old by guesstimate.   All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed microchipped and flea treated before adoption.  if you would like to fill out the adoption application please visit www.hart rescue.weebly.com  filling out the application does not commit you to adoption it simply makes the approval process quicker.  April 30, 2024, 11:37 am

Story
Barbossa is a Maine Coon mix boy weighing in at 20 pounds.  He could stand to lose a little weight so he can be more active.  He will require a good deal of brushing to avoid his hair matting up.  He is about 2 years old and loves attention.  He is ok with other cats but can be hissy at them if they try to be bossy.

Story
This black cat showed up at my bird feeder one afternoon. She was desperately trying to catch a meal. She looked skinny, one of her front teeth was missing, she seemed to be looking for help. Clearly her life has been a rough one. I already have 4 cats and 2 dogs, so I knew I would not be able to give her a new home. But I began leaving food out for her and our friendship began. She came daily for pets and cuddles and food. One day - she did not show up for almost a week. When she finally did return she had a wound on her neck like she had been attacked. This was the day I started letting her sleep on my sun porch to keep her safe. She has gotten accustomed to the sun porch and some days she does not even want to go outside. She loves to sit on your lap and purrs nonstop. She is so sweet. She uses the litter box and is no trouble. Sadly - I am moving and cannot take her with me. My heart hurts for her - she deserves a forever home. She has so much love to give!

Story
Meet Marvel, an absolutely gorgeous long-haired girl about one-year old. She has the face of a tabby, but the rest of her breathtaking coloring is hard to describe. She is small with a cute pointy little face. (She could be younger than a year and may still grow.) She is super friendly, rolls over for belly rubs, and purrs like a freight train. She has experience with teenagers and dogs, and she definitely gets along with cats. She's a very new arrival and needs a bit of quarantine time and one more vaccine, but she is ready to entertain applications.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had her first distemper vaccine, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.  Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.   We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.May 2, 2024, 10:18 am

Story
Nora was found at the Home Depot She is very sweet and affectionate and loves to sit in your lap. She has been spayed, tested, and vaccinated for distemper and rabies.  Unfortunately, Nora tested positive for feline leukemia (Felv) and feline aids (FIV). It would be best if I were the only cat in the household or with another feline leukemia positive cat.  Won’t you give me a chance to show you how much love and affection I can give you.  Because of Nora’s Felv status, Nora is a SPONSORED pet, which means a generous donor has paid her adoption fee.  If interested in Nora, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Meet Natasha! She is Marvel's sister and they make a lovely pair! They came from a home with too many pets.  Like her sister, Natasha is very social purr machine.  She is used to cat-savvy teenagers and dogs, and she definitely gets along with cats.
