Story
This is Luci. She turns two in may. she prefers to be with other cats, loves pets and attention, will cuddle with you all night and lay in your lap, watch you across the room. she loves playing with string, crinkle toys, and balls, she loves the outdoors and snow (previous owners would let her play on their porch) she’s the nicest cat i have ever met. she has also been around a newborn and does fine around them. she is litter trained, will come with litter box and extra litter, brush, food bowls, and some toys she really likes. she’s way too nice to be rehomed to someone mean. she doesn’t even play aggressively. she gets along with other cats and i’m sure dogs because she is like a dog. the issue is our senior cat is not being nice to her. it’s caused some issues so i want her to find a new nice home.

Story
Meet Roo! Meet our sweet and shy girl, a beautiful black cat who came to us with her sister from a difficult situation. She was matted and had to be shaved to help her feel better, and she’s still adjusting to shelter life and new people. Though she’s a little reserved right now, she’s a gentle soul who will thrive in the right home. This girl would do best in a quiet environment where she can take her time to feel comfortable. A home with no dogs and children under the age of 10 would be ideal for her. While she may need some time to adjust, especially in a new setting, we know that with patience and love, she’ll become a wonderful and affectionate companion. She and her sister are both ready to start fresh and would make lovely pets for someone who’s willing to give them the time and space they need to settle in. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet cat to share your home with, come meet this gentle girl and her bonded sister – they just need a little extra time to show you their true, loving selves! To meet Roo, complete an online application at www.washingtonpashelter.org or visit during walk through hours on Tuesday 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday through Saturday 1pm - 4pm.

Story
Meet Boo! She is a beautiful black cat who’s been through a lot but is ready to find her forever home. She came to us with her sister from a difficult situation and, unfortunately, was quite matted and had to be shaved. Despite her rough start, she’s a loving and gentle soul who enjoys a good petting session once she gets comfortable. She`s still adjusting to the shelter environment, but with a little patience, she’s sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. This sweet girl would do best in a quiet home, ideally with no dogs or children under 10. She might take some time to settle in, but once she does, we know she’ll bring so much love to the right person or family. If you`re looking for a calm and affectionate cat who just needs a little time to feel at home, this sweet girl—and her bonded sister—could be the perfect match for you.
