Story
Hi, I`m Elmo! I came to ECCHA as a surrender through no fault of my own, and now I`m looking for a patient family to help me settle into my forever home. I can be a little timid when meeting new people or exploring new places, and sudden noises can make me want to find a cozy hiding spot. But once I feel safe and comfortable, my loving personality really shines! I`m a cuddly guy who enjoys head skritches, snuggling up with my favorite humans, and playing with dangly toys and crinkle balls. I`d do best in a quieter home where I can take my time getting comfortable and building confidence. Give me a little patience, and I`ll reward you with lots of love and companionship. I was neutered here at ECCHA. If you`re looking for a sweet cat who just needs a little time to open up, I`d love the chance to become part of your family. La la la la, La La La la, After all, it`s Elmo`s world....I just need someone special to share it with!

Story
Hey, I’m Zilla! Don’t let the name fool you, the only thing monstrous about me is the size of my heart (and maybe my purrs). I came to ECCHA as a stray, but now I’m ready to stomp my way into a forever home! I’m a vocal, curious guy who loves to chat and soak up attention. The second you pick me up, my motor starts running full speed. I’m basically a professional purr machine. I adore head and ear scratches, being held, and making biscuits while cuddling close. I was neutered here at ECCHA. I’m also not sure how I feel about dogs, cats, or kids yet, so slow introductions are always best. Some cats breathe fire; I just breathe purrs. So if you’re looking for a lovable little “Cat-zilla” to take over your heart, I’m your guy!

Story
One move closer to your new best friend. Hi there! My name is Checkers, and I`m ready to jump right into your home and to capture your heart. I came to ECCHA as a stray with my kittens. They have all found homes of their own, and now it`s finally my turn to be spoiled! While at ECCHA, I was spayed and have been patiently waiting for my forever family. My foster family describes me as sweet, outgoing, rambunctious, and quite the chatterbox. I love telling you all about my day! I can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once I settle in, my fun-loving personality shines. You`ll often find me seeking out head scritches, tasty treats, extra attention, or the coziest bed in the house. One thing to know about me: I`m not a fan of being held. I`d much rather keep all four paws on the ground while still enjoying your company and affection. I`ve done great with the kids in my foster home! We`re still unsure how I feel about other cats and dogs, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully. My ideal home is a quieter one where I have room to explore, play, and settle in at my own pace. If you`re looking for a sweet companion who`s ready to make all the right moves, I think we`re a perfect match!

Story
Zelda is a 13 year old senior solo cat. The owner is an elderly woman who has recently been moved to a nursing home. She was named Zelda after F. Scott Fitzgerald's eccentric and troubled wife. Zelda, the cat, is a spirited and independent cat. Zelda will take time to acclimate to a new home, but eventually comes around to the new situation. Zelda likes to approach you and doesn't like to be approached. She is an senior cat in good health. She has no issues with litter box training. Her aloofness can make taking care of her long hair difficult. Patience goes a long way to slowly earning the trust to grooming. Her absolute favorite wet food is plain old Frixies Chicken Poultry Pate. She hates fish. I believe Zelda has several more years of life to live with her new home.
