He would make a great companion in a home that loves a talkative furrbaby and one that loves attention. Tom has special medical needs because he has an auto-immune condition called “Pillow Paw”. The condition is not curable, but manageable with antibiotics and the prognosis is good for achieving complete remission with appropriate therapy. His special human will have to be diligent in working close with their vet to create the best management plan for him. His prospective adopter is urged to do diligent research and discuss this condition with their vet before adopting him.
