Story
Meet Malina! Affectionately known as Cali, a charming 7 (almost 8) year-old calico feline hailing from Chino, CA. Despite being the runt of her litter, Malina has blossomed into a captivating individual with an outgoing disposition. Initially timid in unfamiliar environments, she quickly warms up to people and thrives on affection, making her an exceptional cuddle companion! She is not one to be bossed around so would not do well with a very alpha-type personality cat or dog but has gotten along with her various feline siblings quite well throughout her life. Malina was born with a minor heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which has been managed with daily medication—a routine she has acclimatized to effortlessly. Regular visits to her cardiologist ensure her health remains stable, although she thrives best in low-stress environments as she ages. Whether part of a bustling multi-pet household or as the sole feline companion, Malina flourishes when her human is present for playtime and snuggles. Her favorite pastimes include darting after elusive laser beams and basking in the warmth of the sun or any cozy spot she can find! When it comes to interacting with other cats, Malina initially displays timidity but quickly embraces playful camaraderie. Her endearing quirks include a love for lounging on laps and various perches, showcasing her adaptable and relaxed nature. Malina's ideal adoptive family prioritizes her comfort and well-being, providing a tranquil and affectionate atmosphere for her to thrive. While she hasn't had extensive exposure to dogs, she tends to be wary of larger breeds initially but may warm up with patience and gentle introductions. This delightful calico cat is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, litter-trained, and microchipped, ready to grace her new home with her unique charm and affectionate presence! Malina desires a stress-free transition, and a nurturing and loving environment in her new forever home. Contact us at adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information about Malina!

Story
Meet Luna Tuna! A 6-year-old feline hailing from the sunny streets of Los Angeles, CA. Luna, weighing around 10 pounds, embodies a delightful combination of affection and independence, making her an ideal companion for any cat lover! With her loving nature, playful demeanor, and sharp intellect, Luna is sure to capture your heart! Despite her independent streak, Luna is quick to shower you with affection upon your return home. She relishes cuddles and will eagerly curl up beside you, purring contently. Luna's playful side emerges when she's exploring her surroundings or engaging with new toys. However, she's not one for sudden changes, often feeling apprehensive in unfamiliar situations. Luna's distinct personality shines through in her interactions with others. While she may be wary of strangers initially, she forms deep bonds with those she trusts. She prefers the company of calm, older dogs, but energetic pups can leave her feeling uneasy. Additionally, Luna may take some time to warm up to other feline companions, but with patience, she may forge lasting friendships. This charming feline boasts a repertoire of amusing habits that never fail to entertain. From chattering at birds through the window to engaging in playful games of tag, Luna brings joy to those around her. She delights in the simple pleasures of life, whether it's rolling on her back for belly rubs or showcasing her hunting skills by chasing and capturing flies! One of Luna's most endearing qualities is her intelligence, which she cleverly employs to maximize her time spent with loved ones. Despite her sensitive stomach and occasional timidity, Luna's affectionate nature and vocal expressions make her a cherished member of the family. Rest assured, Luna's health and well-being are a top priority. She's up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Story
Meet Bugsy. This handsome tuxie is a BIG boy! He loves to roll over and beg for belly rubs. He will not let you miss a meal and he is great at catching flies (sky raisins!). Bugsy is bonded to his brother, Ollie. They are thick as thieves and will need to be adopted together. They’ll keep you company while you’re working and your feet warm while you’re sleeping! They’re both big talkers and loooove toys!! Bugsy and Ollie were born on April 29, 2019. Their ideal home is quiet and mellow, and without small children as the noise and activity level makes them a bit nervous. They will of course need a lot of patience as they settle into a new environment; these boys are timid. They will warm up, but it likely won't be immediate. If you are searching for a sweet pair of young boys to hang with on the couch with a pile of blankets and a good movie, then these two may just fit the bill! Interested in adopting?
