Meet Diesel! Diesel came to Ahimsa 4 years ago, after being trapped living outside with a feral colony near Jasper, MI. Turns out, he LOVES humans! He follows staff everywhere, looking for pets and attention. He also loves cuddles and will jump right in your lap! Diesel is having a hard time finding his forever home as he will sometimes nip, swat, or bite- when playing or when upset. The rest of the time he is a total lovebug- he even likes being picked up and carried around like a baby! All Diesel really wants is a human of his own to love on all day! Diesel would do best in a home without young kids and preferably as the only kitty- as he does tend to like being the “boss”. He will need extra time and patience in his forever home as continues to learn his manners. Experienced cats lover wanted! Interested in giving Diesel a forever home? 3 year old - Brothers *Bonded Pair Meet Ion & Eon! We were found living outside alongside other kitties and our mother when we were about a year old. We look almost exactly alike, the only difference being Eon has a little white on his chest. We love to play and we love other cats! One of our best friends here is actually Ahimsa’s “mean” barn cat that lives indoors. We are still learning to fully trust all humans and will sometimes run and hide with new people. We can usually be won over with some food or treats though! From staff here we love pets and cuddles and will even come over for more! Mostly though, we love each other. We spend pretty much all day together; cuddling, playing, or lounging at the window. Ion & Eon are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. We do offer bonded pairs at a discount. They would do best in a home with someone willing to give them extra time and patience while they adjust to their new life and continue to learn to enjoy human affection. Meet Snap! I was found dumped outside in an opened cage along with 6 other cats back in 2022. Nowadays, I’m the friendliest cat here, who asks anyone and everyone for pets and, even, kisses. I’ll meow for more or even come jump on your lap if it’s available! I am feline herpesvirus positive, which is not fatal and easily managed. I often get conjunctivitis and need my eyes wiped but I don't usually require any regular medication. There is nothing Snap would love more than to have a person to call his own! He is friendly with other cats, but could also be a great solo-kitty. Most importantly, Snap would do best in a home with someone to give him a bunch of love and attention that he so deserves. Meet Pi! I am a super energetic young man. I love to play and I love other kitties! I was rescued when I was only a few months old, living outside, in the cold start of winter. Even when I was I little, I loved to play with the big cats and I do sometimes even play a little too rough with them. I currently reside at a foster home.. with a dog! We are not best friends but I’ve learned he’s not so bad and we do occasionally hangout together. Mostly though, I’d love a home with other kitty friends to play with! Meet Crackle! I am the most happy and friendly kitty you will ever meet! I love humans and I love being held. In my perfect world I would just sit on someone’s lap and be pet all day! I am a diabetic and I do require insulin shots twice a day, 12 hours in between doses. I am such a good kitty, though, I will be rolling on my belly for pets while getting my shot! I also eat special prescription diabetic canned and kibble food to help maintain my sugar levels. Crackle is the sweetest boy you could ever imagine, all he wants is love! He would do best in a home that is not too busy and with someone to give him the time and attention he so deserves! *Crackle’s diabetes can be maintained and he can lead a happy, long life.
