Sassy is a young Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a small, adorable body. She is playful, energetic, and absolutely lives for romping around with other dogs. Having a canine buddy to wrestle and zoom with is her happy place, and she would truly shine in a home with another playful dog. When Sassy first came into foster care, she was underweight and unsure about humans. She is learning every day that people bring good things like love, safety, and comfy beds. These days she enjoys curling up in bed with her foster family, especially at night, where she sleeps through without accidents and snores like she pays rent. Sassy loves the outdoors and is always up for playtime, backyard adventures, or a trip to the park. She walks nicely on a leash and has even been introduced to cats, which did not phase her one bit. She is crate trained and does great with routine. This sweet girl will do best with a family that enjoys being active, has patience, and understands that confidence comes with time. Once she trusts you, you are in for a loyal, fun loving little sidekick who brings laughs, cuddles, and nonstop entertainment.
