Meet Shorty, a three-and-a-half-year-old Dachshund/Pitbull mix weighing 25 pounds. Shorty is a lovable low-rider with a short stature, long body, and the cutest little waddle you’ve ever seen. He’s a friendly guy who loves attention and is always happy to soak up pets and affection.Shorty is doing great with his leash training and continues to improve every day. When he’s out and about, he likes to follow his nose and take in all the good smells the world has to offer. With his sweet personality, adorable build, and easygoing charm, Shorty is impossible not to love.If you’re looking for a friendly companion with a big heart in a low-to-the-ground package, Shorty might be your perfect match!This pet is available for adoption on 2/8/2026 at 2:45 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
