Story
Nova is just about the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. We have a kennel, food, and several toys to give with her. Her main issue is leash pulling. I am 21 weeks pregnant with a 13 month old I frequently babywear and she is simply too strong for me to walk her. She would thrive in a setting with an active lifestyle or backyard. Willing to drive all the way down to south chandler to rehome her.

Story
Hi! My name is Turbo, and I`m an energetic boy looking for my forever home! I love playing fetch in the yard with my friends on staff and volunteers, and I love going for long walks. I`m a big boy, so I`m pretty strong on the leash, but I`m learning how to walk calmly and getting better every day! I am looking for a home with an active couple or person, someone who loves spending time outside and playing! I haven`t been tested around children, but I haven`t displayed any poor behavior around any person that I`ve seen. If you have children please bring them to meet me, I just want to make sure I won`t knock them over if I get too rowdy! I haven`t been around any dogs at the shelter other than my brother, so if you have a dog living with you already, bring them by so we can see if we get along! I can`t wait to meet my forever family!

Story
Adopt Jeter - the 1.5 year old German Shepherd tri-pod that is as sweet as they come. Jeter is thriving in foster care. He’s gaining weight, sleeping hard, and happily shadowing his person around the house. He is fully potty trained with zero accidents, super food motivated, and eager to please. He walks well on leash with just a little excitement at first, rides great in the car, and absolutely loves sticking his head out the window. He has proven himself to be a true people person and certified love bug. This awesome guy has been introduced to several dogs now and has been an absolute champ about it. Gets along well with a husky, boxer, and even some small dogs. He also knows when to back off when dogs don’t want to be his friend! He’s a lean-into-you-for-scratches kind of guy. Full body scrubs are required. He enjoys toys but gets shy if he notices you watching him play, and he loves to “cob” you during playtime. As for elk, he doesn’t dislike them… he just doesn’t fully trust them yet. Jeter is still building confidence on three legs and occasionally has a small slip that startles him, but he continues to grow braver every day. He can also be a bit whiny when separated from his people or dog friends, though he is not destructive. Contact his foster by TEXT at (209) 620-4813 to set up a meet and greet or ask any questions!
