Pepper was discovered abandoned in the woods by a family friend who knew she was special and needed a home. While we weren’t ready for the responsibility of such an energetic pup, we worked diligently to keep up with her. However difficulty with our cats, and the increasing needs of our infant son mean we’ve decided that we can’t give Pepper the time and energy she needs to thrive, instead having more “no’s” in the house for her. Pepper needs an energetic home with lots of special attention, walks, and a tight bond. She’s only 4 and still very energetic, and she needs someone who will keep up with engagement and attention - likely without large commitments to long hours at work nor other children and pets at home. She’s incredibly sweet, but hard to walk on a leash, put into unfamiliar situations, and has strong reactions to other dogs, especially while on leash. We just want her to live up to her full potential, no adoption fee.
