Story
Colby is a small adult male with a gentle, sensitive soul. He can be very shy and unsure when first meeting new people, often needing a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable. His energy level is typically low, but once Colby warms up to you and his surroundings, his playful side begins to shine through in the sweetest way. He is making steady progress with his leash manners and improves a little more every day. Colby is eager to please and responds well to patience, kindness, and consistency. He will do best in a calm, understanding home where he’s given time to decompress and truly learn what it means to be loved. Colby has not been around small children while in the facility and would be best suited for a home with older kids who can respect his boundaries and move at his pace. For the right family willing to give him time and reassurance, Colby will be a deeply loyal and loving companion.

Story
Duke is a 2 year old sweet, loving dog who wants to please you. He was rescued from a kill shelter about a year ago where he and his 2 siblings were given up. His brothers were adopted, leaving him. Duke looks more like the Shepherd as his brothers looked more like the Malinois. When we got Duke, my adult son was planning on training Duke for scent detection. He had also just opened his kennel business which quickly became a 24/7 job not leaving the time needed for Duke. Duke deserves someone that can spend the time and energy Duke needs. Duke is very smart, listens to commands, walks well on lead and loves to cuddle on the couch. Duke would make a great companion for someone looking for a devoted friend.
