Story
Thank you for your interest in an NBSR dog. Amber is a super sweet little girl who would fit in most anywhere.....she is just the happiest puppy! She and her siblings came into us from another rescue who got in over their heads and asked us to take these little darlings. They are all fully vetted when the other rescue got them but they were too young for a rabies at that time.....so we are making appointments for them to get those done and they will be ready for their new homes and loving families. Please visit our website to fill out our online adoption application at your earliest convenience.....please make sure to indicate the dog's name that you are interested in adopting. One of our volunteers will get it processed and get back to you via email, so make sure to watch your email and if you don't hear from us, please send us an email and we will investigate it for you. We can then set up an appointment for you to come out and meet a dog of your choosing, who is a good match for your family and lifestyle.        New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue is a volunteer based rescue, we work very hard to help as many adoptable GSDs as possible. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters across the country, so sadly we do not have any background information on them.....but we work very hard to get to know each and every dog brought into our program in need of a new beginning in their lives. We do not take animals with aggression problems (some may not like other dogs, cats, or may require older kids as opposed to younger children, but we will let you know everything that we know) most of these beautiful dogs have been faithful and loving family pets for their entire lives, yet still have lost their homes and families through no fault of their own. If you are interested in opening your heart and home to one of these amazing dogs please fill out our adoption application at https://www.newbeginningsrescue.com/adoption-application and we will get back in touch after we get it processed. If you don't hear from us in 3 days, please send us a gentle reminder and one of us will get right on it. Please indicate the dog you are interested in meeting, where it says preference on the application! You may also email julie@newbeginningsrescue.com , we are always happy to answer any questions you may have. If you give them your heart, they will give you theirs.  May 5, 2024, 9:55 pm

Story
Xander does not like any other dogs!!!! He is fine with dog-savvy cats though. He needs an experienced GSD handler! Very protective and can be unpredictable! He is very good in the house. He has some seperation anxiety issues and will need someone patient in working with him. He is five years old. He is a registered DDR German Shepherd. He is my son's dog but is now staying with me in an apartment until he finds a new home. My son is marrying a lady with two small toddlers and Xander is not good with children, so he needs someone who understands him to give him love. He knows basic commands and a couple of tricks too.

Story
Bullet is 7 years old and was my grandfather’s dog. He passed and unfortunately the family cannot keep him. He is currently living with another dog and 2 cats. He is very very energetic and wants to play all the time. Loves car rides and lots of toys. He is okay with other pets but does try to be dominant or very playful. Depending on your animals, if you have any, this could be a good or bad thing. He is up to date on everything and I have the paperwork from the vet. He really needs a home with a yard and a family that will take time with him and love him.
