Carter and his brother Jimmy came to rescue as breeder surrenders. They are NOT mix breed but we marked chihuahua as their secondary breed to get the attention of people who may not know about Feists, as they are close relatives to Rat Terriers and Jack Russell Terriers and Chihuahuas. Feists have a reputation as great companions and family dogs and are not typically as high energy as Jacks. Carter is 5 months old and weighs 8 lbs. He is dewormed, vaccinated, neutered and on heartworm preventive. Carter is a happy, social boy. He is smart and ready to learn. Carter loves to be held and be silly. He is playful and curious and will bring lots of energy and happiness to his new family. Carter has done well with other dogs and made friends. He also takes caution well from older dogs that don’t want to be his friend. Carter loves to stretch out with his belly in the grass or the floor. He’s a sweet little fella, making good progress on kennel and potty training. He is ready for adoption. Adoption fee is $250.
