Who wants the absolute best family dog! If so, then Red is the man for you. He may be your basic Georgia brown dog, but he has the sweetest temperament around. We rescued Red from our local animal control after being there for OVER A MONTH! We cannot understand why no one snatched him up and took him home. He is only 20 so the perfect size, not small and fragile and not too big! Red is about 2-3 years old and has been fully vetted neutered, given DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, and given monthly preventions. He has tested great with the dogs here at the rescue, kids, and cats. He really is a good boy and is very ready to be in his forever home. Looking for a loving home for a female Feist mix. She is very sweet, friendly with people and other dogs, and has a fun, energetic personality. She would do great with an active family, someone with a yard, or anyone who enjoys being outdoors. We want to make sure she goes to a safe, caring home where she’ll get plenty of attention and exercise. Unfortunately our two other female dogs did not get along with her. Meet Sadie Sadie is a sweet girl with a gentle heart who’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to learn to trust and feel safe!  She's made so much progress already in her foster home where she is fully house trained.  She loves other dogs and does well with large and small dogs.  While she’s pretty social with her canine friends, she seems a little too curious with the felines so best to supervise closely until certain!  This girl lives for a good game of fetch and will happily show off her frisbee-catching skills!  Once she feels comfortable, her playful, fun-loving personality really shines. Sadie can be a little nervous with frequent changes, and suffered a home where there was domestic violence, so she needs a home where she can feel safe, in a clam, predictable routine.   A calm, steady environment will help her feel safe and confident. She would do well with kids or older children who are dog-savvy and understand how to respectfully interact with her. Sadie is about a year old and 40 lbs and currently up to date on all her vetting, is walking nicely on a leash, and learning to trust more and more as her foster family introduces her to new situations.   She’s not looking for perfect — just patient.
