Meet Leaf Peeping, this pup is playful, curious, and full of goofy charm. This little dude is eager to learn, quick to bond, and ready for a family who will help him grow with kindness, structure, and plenty of belly rubs. He gets along wonderfully with people and would thrive in a home that enjoys playtime, adventure, and cuddles in equal measure! This adorable pup is special needs due to being diagnosed with tendon contracture- which is caused by the bone growth exceeding the tendon growth during development. This condition should resolve on its own, but there is a chance that he may need reassessment and surgery in the future. Story
Laika is a 6.5 years old Lab and a Terrier mix weighing about 38 lbs. We adopted her more than 4 years ago from NorthEast Animal Shelter. She is a medium energy dog and very goofy! She loves squeaky toys and destroys them in minutes. She loves humans and greets everyone and asks for pets, she is however reactive to other dogs and has to be the only pet at home. We give her Farmer's dog fresh food everyday and would be ideal if she can get the same in her new home. She does get on the living room furniture and sleeps on her blankets. In the nights she sleeps in her crate. She doesn't like her nails trimmed or being given injections so we have to give her medication before we take her to vet. She is in general very lovely dog, loves to sleep next to you and will follow you everywhere. We realized our baby has dog allergies and are forced to re-home her.
