Story
Hi, I’m Bramble—and if you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate companion who’s always happy to see you, you might just fall in love with me.I can be a little vocal when I know it’s time for an adventure, but that’s just my excitement bubbling over. Once I’m out and with you, I settle into a nice rhythm. I walk pretty well on leash, though I do enjoy stopping to sniff the world around me. I’m responsive to gentle guidance, especially if you use kind words or, even better, treats. I absolutely love treats and take them very politely, which makes learning new things with me a lot of fun. I already know how to sit and offer a paw, and I’m always ready to show off. I’m a very soft, wiggly kind of dog. I lean into affection, nudge for more pets, and sometimes get so happy I spin in little circles. You can handle me all over, though I might be a tiny bit sensitive around my ears—I’ll let you know gently, but I always stay relaxed and sweet about it. I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be close and connected. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things. I might bark at first out of excitement, but I warm up instantly, greeting everyone like a long-lost friend. I feel the same way about other dogs. When I meet a new canine buddy, I’m eager, playful, and full of friendly energy. I’d be very happy in a home with another dog, or with regular chances to make friends. Food and attention are my biggest motivators, and I’m very easygoing when it comes to sharing space around food or treats. Toys don’t really catch my interest, but people absolutely do. Since I came in as a stray, there’s still a bit to learn about my past, but everything I’ve shown so far is kind, gentle, and full of love. I would likely do well in many types of homes, including apartments, as long as I get enough exercise and mental stimulation. The people here say that they don`t know how I would do with those things called `cats` but I am willing to try. If your cat is friendly and used to dogs, we might be able to form a friendship. They also said something about `kids`, they tell me they`re like adults just smaller and probably more fun--I could definitely get behind some of those in my new home, as long as they understand us dogs and are kind to me (especially if they hand out snacks!). If you’re hoping for a loyal little shadow who greets you with a wagging tail, a wiggly body, and endless affection, I’m right here waiting to meet you. You might notice my $50 diva fee! This is because I
